Without the good resource , without good drama with good script, he still can manage to charm us with his acting that says a lot. I wish him for the best as he is an actor that i really admire. If i would meet him in person i would say “thank you for being an actor i will always be your audience” :)
iQiyi has many rumored dramas aiming for July so I'm not sure if TWOT will be their priority. It might be delayed…

That is why i kept wondering how CZY came this far without playing in the popular or big costume drama with good script and with no good resource. The one who said he has the good resource must be blind if they really considered his projects in the past. HL got so many controversies even before it started shooting to the point that the first director left the project because he thought it would be a flop. End of july to early of august is not the good time to air the drama because of olympic games.

Yeah since there is some progress on this drama eventually we will see him playing in costume drama probably this year apart from SF4. I am considering to watch korean version just to understand his character lol

I don’t think it is his intention but his agency. I honestly don’t like this kind of billing issues. Fans fight for their fave to be the first title and ignore to fully support actor/actress and drama. C-ent is a mess. I respect all his leading lady unless their fan do the opposite and insult czy, anyway i will still support all of his drama no matter what.

I feel like Mango and CCTV appreciated him more. Even tencent casted him in big costume projects before. However, i am still okay with iQiyi since they casted him in TWOT and DNAD which having the interesting story line than some costume drama.
