If you want to avoid spoilers, you're right not to read TWOT novel.
The production team seems to mimic all the scenes from the book based on what I have seen in the drama trailer.
I read the novel because I want to imagine him as A Zan and I am looking forward to seeing his portrayal of that character :)

Less famous, less protest by the novel fans :)
I still don't get why Chinese productions often base their dramas on novels.
It would be more exciting for the audience if they don't know the storyline and aren't expecting anything directly from the book.

I'm a bit confused, they allow the publication of BL books but not the dramas. I think the books are more mature than the dramas. Or have they banned the books too?

I've always enjoyed CZY's heartwarming romantic scenes, but I'm curious to see him act in more aggressive character in the romance scene as well. XD

In fact, we can support him by keeping this thread active. When someone googles his name, MDL usually appears as the first site providing information about him and his dramas. If passersby see that many fans support CZY's projects, even with minimal impact, some investors may consider offering him more of the quality projects he deserves in the future.

We're big fans of CZY here, so feel free to chat about him or anything else related to his work! We often discuss our frustrations with his agency not providing him the support he deserves. According to some Weibo post, his agency has just a dozen staff members managing over ten artists (actors, actresses, and singers), which likely makes it challenging for them to effectively promote everyone. However, given CZY's popularity as their most prominent actor, they should prioritize promoting him. Some brands even reported difficulty contacting the agency before, as if there was no one available to respond!

Considering that the agency is under iQiyi, one would expect them to offer him compelling drama projects and scripts to continue his popularity overseas. However, they seem to treat him as just another actor without much traffic. He has waited over six months to begin shooting the new drama. While I understand he only considers good scripts and the type of dramas he prefers, if they had offered him a suitable project earlier, he would have accepted and started shooting at the beginning of this year as he tends to get anxious if he goes without shooting for 1-2 months.

They don't care anyway. They keep bullying our boy repeatedly because these people are inherently toxic and malicious, and his agency never takes any action.

He is popular internationally, and I believe he is aware of it, as Yuanbao frequently posted about how he topped the rankings in international polls before. However, it seems his agency has not taken any action regarding this :( As far as I know, he hasn't traveled abroad to promote any dramas (correct me if I'm wrong). He went to Thailand with his mom solely for vacation, showing what a good son he is.
