I used to not pay much attention to things like S++, heat index, and rankings. This competition really stresses people out and sometimes ruins the atmosphere of enjoying a drama you like, especially when someone brings it down due to these rankings. I prefer watching dramas that I genuinely enjoy, often idol dramas that I find comforting, rather than those with intense plots. Chinese costume dramas and those with heavy fantasy or CGI elements aren't really my thing. But ever since becoming a fan of CZY, it's hard to ignore those things because I want him the best T_T

While Chinese dramas produced long ago by HK TVs were more male-centric with well...you know... real men behaviors. If they were to produce similar dramas today with those same male characters like HK drama series long ago, they would likely face heavy criticism and backlash lol.
