On ep 15 and 2nd ML is giving me acid reflux

The pricess’s character growth has to be one of the most interesting I’ve seen in this kind of show. Seriously loving the level up and reveal by ep. 33. Not very familiar with the actress but she’s doing a great job

Same, sokp’s palace intrigue was interesting but the romance left me dissatisfied. This is hitting the spot

Ok I’m glad I’m not the only one! Right, she’s a spy it’s her mission to be fake but she shouldn’t be obviously fake. Like there’s something too smug and facetious about her. Also, can you spoil me? Was the scene where the 2nd ml saves her where she got his jade pendant a real situation or did she set it up?

I tried searching that but didn’t find anything exactly like the one in ep 22.,The same one showed up in The Story of Kunning palace so I’m really curious about it lol thanks!

On ep. 6 and 2nd FL is distracting, idk if it’s just me but it seems super obvious that she’s putting on an act. Which should be the opposite in a situation where her life is on the line. Was expecting more considering all the raves about her character. Wondering if it’s something with the voice acting?

Perfect palate cleanser after Revenant

I’m on ep. 7 and the FL is making it hard to watch. None of these top reviews mention just how grating her character is. Her default reaction in most situations is to scream or screech. She’s also so unserious and always in a frenzy. As a psychiatrist, her character seems ill equipped to handle even the most basic interaction with people struggling with their mental health. Idk if it’s the actress, poor female lead characterization, or bad directing but it’s frustrating. I get she’s supposed to be a source of comedic relief but it’s overdone.

ML is amazing at portraying different personalities. I first saw him in Devil Judge and was blown away. Love seeing him in this.

Idk if this show gets better or not but ep 1 is triggering as hell. Suicide is presented as a choice that deserves eternal suffering. And as a choice that you can shame or “tough love” people out of. Yes it’s possible that this will work in the moment, but it won’t necessarily stop someone from being depressed and experiencing suicide ideation in the long term.

This has no business being this good. I’m dying laughing. Also that magenta coat in ep 3 is fantastic
