It's a pleasant story,it portrays how a housewife is perceived in our days and age.Even though marriage is required by society and people who aren't married are looked down upon,it's ironic how once you're married you're also disconsidered. In the story we see how Miki Makoto,a pleasant looking housewife who dedicated herself honestly and with dignity to her family without once asking something for herself,a very selfless person, even though her husband cheats on her and treats her quite bad in my oppinion.I would've smaked his ugly forehead with divorce papers before he could say "dinner".Makoto goes to a model competition out of interest and hope to find her happy and beautiful self, but from there on she embarks on a journey of becoming a full-fledged model, battling prejudice, back stabbing, ignorance and society with a smile and a display of humanity and kindness.
