Does anyone know who the director is? I want to know so that I can avoid them in the future.
The script and plot are interesting, the acting seems fine (at least or even better), but whoever directed the actors just keeps ruining everything. There's a lot cringy silent moments/dramatic pauses that just drag on for a few seconds too long. They're often unnecessary, as in "is something about to happen? Nope, he was just staring at a wall," and, "why won't he stop nodding?" Then there's that kiss scene. Some people probably think that the actors might not have been comfortable with their roles, but it could just as easily have been the director. The actors might have been doing exactly what they were asked to do, in which case they did a good job.
Lately I have noticed in BL dramas that it is really the director and the screenwriter that determine the quality of the drama. If you look back at some of the BL dramas that you watched, check out the director or screenwriter and look at what other dramas they worked on. If it is an experienced director or screenwriter, then you might notice that another familiar drama that you liked. Meanwhile other directors or screenwriters are associated with several bad BL dramas, or they are entirely unknown or inexperienced. Some of the worst BL dramas have the director listed as also being the screenwriter. Stay away from any BL dramas with a "director/screenwriter."
Episode 1: What the fuck did I just watch? The pacing of the plot was like a toddler on meth in a candy shop. It was all over the place, clearly manic, slightly disturbing, and yet somehow still interesting to watch -- but only if viewed from a safe distance. It was a proper mess, but it was someone else's mess, so that sort of makes it okay, I guess... I'm curious as to how the mess will be sorted, but I am not sure if I am sadistic enough to watch the whole thing. The writer seems to have the attention span of a squirrel and a assortment of other rodents as alternate personalities, and despite all that, they were somehow able to keep the plot consistent for an entire hour. And then there's Charn's/Chan's smirk.
Was it good or bad? I don't know! I just don't know...
After seeing the 3rd episode, my only main complaint about the series is that I cannot watch all the episodes now. Though, more seriously, the subs could be a little bit better -- not that they are bad. It's partly noticeable because the subs actually seem to be improving. There are some cultural references that look like they might be interesting, if there was a quick note about it, or a less literal translation. Given the plot, this could be an opportunity to export some Taiwanese culture to international audiences.
I think the series might be more interesting, and make more sense, if the episodes were watched in reverse order. If anyone tries watching it that way then let me know what you think. Otherwise, don't watch it.

I didn't think I would like the actors either, but they surprised me. Mon reminds me of a better, and more likable, version of "Kit" (Copter Panuwat Kerdthongtavee) from Gen Y -- a character I disliked, in a mediocre series.
As for the plot, it seems like the 1st ep is the set up for the rest of the series (based on the show description). If you watch it as though it was the prologue to the story, then the pacing of the plot might seem more reasonable. Otherwise, I'm actually still a bit weary of the upcoming plot, at least based on the show's description. The whole "romance with a ghost" trope is getting kind of old, especially given how often the trope falls flat.
Wow, that was bad. The lead has the emotional range of a wet brick. This would probably be a better series if it was about a character who cannot express emotions.
I literally stopped watching the 1st ep halfway through so that I could take a nap. That was the best part of this show -- that is, the part where I fell asleep instead of watching it.

Nack, you don't wish for a kiss, you wish for someone to fall madly in love with you. I know Thana just wants independence, self-worth, or something ... I'm not entirely sure. The point is that a few million dollars works wonders for one's sense of self-worth.
And will someone get Gun some laxatives or an acting coach.
At this point, I am rooting for Mahiro to move on. With episode 10, I have decided that the series is a story of how Mahiro gets over his high school crush after meeting him again as an adult and accidentally seeing him naked. That's the only way this makes any sense.

hah, I was being literal about what the kid was smoking. It isn't tobacco, but I don't think it was ever stated as being marijuana. With Thana's reaction to a single puff, it does not seem like pot.
This series just barely managed to retain my interest so far. But now, here we are; we're half way through the series so I might as well see where this is going. So much depends on what sort of ending they go for. The best outcome is that the ending will make the whole series seem "interesting," but somewhere between "interesting good," to "interesting train wreck." Either would do. However, the worst outcome would be that it was all just a waste of time. If it was longer than 6 episodes then I am not sure if I would have taking the risk of watching it all.
Thana was smoking pot, not tobacco, right? Why is Patis so bent out of shape when he himself has gotten messy…

In the ending credits montage, he can be seen wearing a necklace of keys just like the store owner. At this point, part of my interest is how are they going to wrap this up in 3 more episodes? Thus far, it seems like they could manage something, or it might end up being a train wreck. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
I like literally only watched this for the scenes with Cheetah in it. I skipped most of the other scenes. On that topic, it seems like he is listed for a main role in "My Universe," though it will probably just be for an episode or two.
Can someone explain the end of ep 2 please? What was the phone call about? Why is she being congratulated?
Han Joon's mom looks like she's a depressed wreck. I doubt that she is particularly fun to be around given what she is going through. If Yoo Jae's mom is Han Joon's mom's only friend, then HJ-mom might unload all her problems onto YJ-mom, or at the least just complain a lot. Yoo Jae senses something is up, but mostly ignores it and just barrels right through it by giving the phone to his mom. This is ironically how he is reacting to how Han Joon is hanging out with Jin Hwan. The ending scene has Yoo Jae ignoring Han Joon and just barreling right past him like he isn't there.
Generally, Yoo Jae seems to be sort of a dick. He's aware of Chae Young but doesn't care enough to show his disinterest. He has some idea about Jin Hwan's crush, and he's suspicious about how Han Joon is sort of trying to set Jin Hwan up with Chae Young. Again, Yoo Jae senses something is up with Han Joon's efforts, but he mostly just gets insulted about it, even though he doesn't care about Chae Young. He merely tells Han Joon that he doesn't want to hear Jin Hwan's name -- ever again. That's Yoo Jae being a dick and trying to ignore what he thinks is happening between Han Joon and Jin Hwan.
