I just keep staring for days in top rated shows here and still can't believe that this drama is above Nirvana…
To each his own, I suppose. But yes I can't believe that this drama is rated a 9?? Hu Ge's performance in Nirvana was on a totally different level, and the scale of the drama was so much bigger, it's really not comparable to DoTS!
I don't think it's overrated. I really enjoyed the drama and everything that came with it, especially the humor…
Yes it really breaks my heart toooo </33 especially since Joong Ki put so much effort into the filming particularly the action scenes, the extreme hype is not his fault, it's mainly due to the aggressive marketing the show is undergoing in China!
For me this drama was something that I needed to come back to drama world. I was so immersed in the plot and the…
Haha yes! I was doubting if I should watch it because literally everyone seemed to be watching it, but I don't regret a single minute spent :) And yes gosh I forgot to mention the OST T_T it's soooo good and fits so well into the various scenes!! I can't wait for Joong Ki's next project too :))
LOL...for that new method of CPR we can thank narrowminded morality of Korean audience. It would have made HUGE…
Oh that's true! Didn't think of it that way, I guess it could have created lots of angry fans on both sides HAHA. Totally agree with your opinion on the plot, they were probably too ambitious to fit so much content in a 16-episode drama.
There were definitely many plot holes and logic discrepancies, but I honestly feel that the characters were written really well and brought to life by their actors, and this was what made me want to continue watching. And also I have a soft spot for Joongki hehe
On episode 39. I can't hold it anymore! Why is this drama so bloody slowwwwwwww! It's 10 episode before the end…
YES omg I feel you. We have been fooled by the seemingly exciting trailer as well as the Liu Shi Shi - Wallace Huo combination. I just can't wait for this show to end gosh.
I guess the best part in this drama was when the Emperor was trapped with the tribal people because it involved so much character development on his part. BUT once they got back to the palace and the whole you-love-me-you-love-me-not relationship between the Prince and Yunxian resumed, I got SO turned off. Now at episode 43 and the original king is back in the capital... just waiting for the show to quickly end zzzzz
I enjoyed reading this! Didn't know that Personal Taste originated from a novel :) Really feel that dramas/movies which originate from novels are so much better in terms of the plot :)
