I found the dinner scene to be sad and a bit pathetic as well. I want her to move on too. She did confess before…
same lol. I wasn't really invested in their relationship as much as the hype and I didn't understand it. However, I loved them but I think am gonna love them more this season.
LOTS of people who experience infidelity in a relationship get back together and live happily ever after. "once…
Chill dude... you don't have to personally attack them and you are everywhere under comments section that is opposite your own perception. Did they pay you to defend this or what? lol.
It sucks Oab had to go live explaining people were leaving hateful comments about his character Jai and attacking…
This is crazy...wtf is wrong with some people? How does that even make sense. I don't even know the actors social media account or real name lmao. Who really has time to go to the extent of bullying someone based on the character they play. Those people need therapy.
After reading the comments i think that its not a very good or worth watching drama....So can you all suggest…
Love and destiny, Story of Minglan (If you like 'slice of life') , The eternal love 1&2, Princess weiyoung, Love & redemption, under the power, Ashes of love, General and I, legend of fuyao, Romance of tiger and rose (this one is hilarious!). That was a lot...lmao. there are lots of greats ones and I could go on and on and on.
It's because it's extremely realistic dude lol. Not every thing can be rainbows and butterflies.
Well..fortunately, am not 10 years old which I don't how you somehow concluded i am smh. This is not about realism* People saying "realistic realistic" as if we aren't allowed to dislike the story since it's realistic. Also, Have watched some of the most controversial dramas and loved it depending on the context. However, this one is pure lust - he didn't even think twice and had no ounce of loyality in him. It was totally unexpected of him which is why so many people are angry. Yes, it may be realistic like you said and in reality too people hate things like and not everyone can forgive it so we are allowed to hate it too.
Another outstanding bl is Life:Love on the Line (Directors cut) the movie. If you love BLs like I do but you’re…
No! It's very different. It's one of my favorite drama ever. Also Akira didn't CHEAT. He broke up with him and the circumstances surrounding that was understandable even though it hurt as hell. This one is pure lust smh.
It's because it's extremely realistic dude lol. Not every thing can be rainbows and butterflies.
Please! Is faithfulness and loyalty not realistic? Lmao. Also, my comment had nothing to do with whether it's realistic or not. This double standard writers have in shows by claiming they are portraying something realistic but nullify that realism with an absurd ending - for instance, character stays with the cheater anyway. So. I really hope they become realistic till the end cuz according to that reality, not many people stay with their cheating partner or end up with their first love
I didn't know there will be a day where I will be hoping for s2 of "like in the movies" to NEVER come. Did they reallly have to just butcher this one like this? ITSAY is seriously my number 1 2020 favourite drama and they ruined it smh
Finally the end! Honestly, I will miss this alot, I dare to say this is my favorite History yet. They wrapped it up pretty well and I thoroughly enjoyed it. See you guys in the next History comment section. BYE
Honestly, this series is horrible. It's the worst writing you can imagine. It's the definition of trash. I mean,…
No one will try convince you lmao but you should have stopped instead of watching till episode 20 and caused more damage to your brain cells smh - I hope you heal soon!
This comment is like a breath of fresh air. Thank you for bringing a nuanced take! The thought process in the…
Glad someone else actually get exactly what I mean. Oh... and, you are totally right! I don't get why queer stories are held to a higher standard compared to heterosexual stories. Like... 90% of Kdramas literallly have men forcefully grabbing a woman's wrist, pushing her against the wall and force kiss her but you know..who cares? The leads are straight and even if its harrassment, we can all agree it's JUST a story and enjoy it but when it comes to queer stories, they have to be perfect. Am not trying to trivialize rape by comparing it to assault and harrassment but you get what I mean..?
Thank you for this. I agree, people will say "he wanted it" but he wasn't coherent enough to want it, and then…
Oh you are talking about brokeback mountain. It was so popular! It's double standard for sure and I think our generation just like acting woke and it's hard to enjoy anything nowadays, they make everything a big deal. Can't take a joke, can't discern fiction from reality and way too damn sensitive. Sometimes people my age make me nauseous lol. Unrelated, but this is why am against cancel culture too - cancel culture implies people can't make mistakes, they have to be perfect and instantly deleted once a mistake from their past surfaces. I feel like that's so hypocritical and absurd because who is perfect?. I wonder if everyone just want a perfect show where characters don't make any bad decision. Who will enjoy that?
I think most people are just doing this to feel better about themselves and feel like their morals are superior not because they really care about any social issues.
This is a much more sober and judicious objection than what we have seen on here. I disagree with you on a few…
Your points are valid but I still stand by my opinion! I have read the post from Truth dares which actually emphasized many important things about alcohol and consent. However, I do believe that Yongjie shouldnt have made decisions for Xingsi no matter what. He could have convinced him using other ethical method which is why i think his decision is due to the fact that he is young and dumb - and based on his portrayal, he is also a little bit antisocial.
PS: please! Xingsi wasn't no virgin hahaha - he had been in relationships as implied in the series and even if he would have remained a virgin, that should be totally up to him not someones else but what I agree with you on is that we all take things differently and this can be acceptable because Xingsi himself didn't make it a big deal or totally against it so.... who am i to get angry for him? Lol! Another person may have made if a big deal and become traumatized which is why i think the actions are wrong.
Anyways, it's just a series meant for ENTERTAINMENT, it's not a big deal and i hate to be that ethics teacher lol
Thank you for this. I agree, people will say "he wanted it" but he wasn't coherent enough to want it, and then…
Exactly! The point is that this is fictional* I think most people are being way too serious about a show like...it's not that deep. The major arguements are that kids learn from this bla bla but this show has an age requirement and its the parent's responsibility to monitor what your kids are watching not the writers responsibility to censor her imagination for your kids lol.
This will be the last time I talk about this but I will like to make some points and you are welcome to agree to disagree.
While I do not have problem with yongjie and Xingsi couple. I do think his actions are WRONG and shouldn't be defended under any circumstances. All these arguements about intoxication level and whatnot is not the point. The point is that yongjie's action was premeditated (which I can kind of comprehend the reason - he is young and dumb, he think he is helping). He intentionally gave his brother a drink so he could sleep with him and even if being drunk doesn't negate someone's ability to give consent, it wasn't a 100% consent, it was a dubious consent since alcohol can stifle reasonsing skills or the ability to contemplate repercussion and as a result, drunk people are more likely to tell the truth - which is why I think most people are okay with him because it seems Xingsi like him too. Nevertheless, it wasn't right. Even if you like someone, the decision to have s*x with them is completely different. And no matter what, i don't want someone I like to get me drunk on purpose to have sex with me when my reasoning skills are stifled and when am more likely to show how I feel*
Example maybe exxagerated but it's like giving aphrodisiac to someone and sleeping with them after convincing yourself that their BOdy likes it which means the person wanted it. Even If I want it, I want to be sane enough to say I want it under my own violition not with the help of something else.
So, am I against this show? NO. Why? because it's a f*cking fiction and I don't think that writers or series should be our moral teacher. It's just a work of art, her own imagination. Also, there is literallly a disclaimer at the beginning of each episodes that clearly warns that parental guardian is needed for people below a certain age so I think its fine.
However, If i was watching with a minor, I would make sure to let them know that its just a movie and in reality they should always make sure to get consent from someone. Simple!? right?
Everyone have different perspective but there are clear lines on what is subjective and objective and we all have our guilty pleasure :) that doesn't make us a rape apologist.
There's barely any good shows from MBC. that's why I cant stand modern day MBC
A remake of a Japanese drama*
Also, is this drama really that bad? I want to watch it but i didn't find 1 positive comment about it lol. I love Nana so much but am not sure of this..
