Yeah if I'm being honest I didn't understand what was going on there. Where were they? Was this real or just her imagination? I was a bit confused, I just took it as a creative way for the director to end the drama idk. If you have another interpretation that's happier and makes sense I'm more than open to it!!

you can say it's optimistic since there's an alternative timeline where the leads have a happy life together, but at the current timeline it's pretty sad. I suppose it depends on how you see it
