I think i'm not the only one who watch this series as a kdrama beginner. I watched it for the first time 12 years ago. Since then, I've been addicted to korean drama. I've been re-watching this series for nth time. I often rewatching this whenever I need a stress reliever.
The drama remains classic and legend. This drama is perfect for you who want classic romance-comedy drama, need a light drama because it's easy to watch, or you who just miss the old days. I can say that this is the OG romcom kdrama.
The character is still iconic. Even you watch Jung Somin in many projects, you can deny that Oh Hani is very iconic. It's a shame that Kim Hyunjoong's career isn't durable, but Baek Seungjoo too remains iconic.
If you ask me if this drama still relevant now? I honestly say NO. I guess it will have bad criticism if it releases in this era. I also think that it's just a classic romcom who give me memories of me enjoying kdrama in my teenagers day, but as an adult I can say that it really has many problems in characters and story. But yeah, I just want to let it be a good memory and I really enjoy of the comedy trope in this classic work.
