a little add onto your comment about ray and zhaoyu. Most likely just from what I witness and ig my intuition, is that in ep 7 it seems like Ray definitely hits it off with Minzi more than with zhaoyu just bc their feelings reciprocated back whereas zhaoyu said in a previous ep that her relationship with ray is just friend like.

pretty sure nothing is confirmed yet since the show isn't over so we'll probably have to wait to see the reunion episode but a quick search of their names on tiktok, you can see them hanging out together and i think a photo of them linking arms with yiyang carrying zhaoyu's bag that has lots of keychains on it.

Ep 7 really made me smile, giggle, & kick my feet all together and not bc it was just my fav “couple”, Nora and Jason & their date/interactions but MAINLY bc we got to see a different side of Yiyang opening up more, being talkative & active when he was on his date with Zhaoyu. I really just love this trope so much, “she fell first but he fell harder” & vice versa.

Zhaoyu literally went thru a whole rollercoaster of emotions since ep 1, yk from not really connecting with anyone to liking Yiyang then getting friend zoned by him to seeing him treat the girl he likes differently to then finding a connection with Ray to saying he’s just a friend to then liking Yiyang again at the end of ep 7 bc of their date early that day 🥹. And I totally get how she feels at the end of ep 7 saying all the small things Yiyang did on their date made her heart beat for him again after having a heartbreak cry a couple eps ago bc I also felt that.

I really hope Yiyang comes to his senses & realizes that Zhaoyu is the ONLY girl & reason why he is coming out of his shell step by step even if its baby steps & that maybe she is the girl for him. 😊

Fr, I honestly thought they were cute despite knowing its a one sided love situation. I'm glad Zhaoyu was able to be brave to go out of her comfortable zone and pursue Yiyang despite being told about just becoming better friends by him. It sad to see her be defeated but hopefully if Yiyang doesn't reciprocate his feelings back that maybe the new guy Ray does.

Plastic Surgery is very common in Korea well in east asian countries like china, japan, and korea. Some will look similar because they will try their best to fit into the kbs or have korean celebrities as reference. And yes most of the time when theres a dating show in Korea, they will have the female contestants have similar faces but its overall boring because theres no personality and originality

It seems like they aren’t fully sure who are the main leads yet because from what i’ve seen the last time I visited Song Wei Long and Lu Yu Xiao were the main leads listed but I’ve also seen people say and saw Wang Churan and Zhang Yuxi were the female leads and Zhang Ling He as the male lead.. but this has been a pattern among dramas now I was so excited for Zhang Ling He in Destined To Love with Zhou Ye but I just went back and check he isnt listed as the male main lead anymore which made me sad and disappointed but having lots of casting changes is very annoying and we dont know if its the actor/actress who decided not to be part of a certain drama or its because of the drama production team not wanting them to be in it
