If someone is reading the comments to decide if you should start: If you are sad and need something light and cute, please don't do it with yourself. At least right now.
The couple is beautiful, but the backstory is a historical tragedy, there's no point in thinking that this is going to be happy all time time (or even happy at all). There's no "political" tag because it's not the main focus, but with 4 episode we saw a lot of political relationships between some characters. The feelings are not the only things that matter here.
I don't think Soo Ryun personality is going to be just as flat as we are imagining right now. Like everyone else, I also don't understand her political persona, her motivation and acts are not clear for me, but because of her father situation I think we will see more of her 'not-spoiled' side.
I really didn't expect to love the 2 first episodes so much! They are so adorable and you can already understand and empathize with them with such a little time. I hope it stays good <3
First episode was so cute! I love melodramas and this one was not slow paced at all, a lot of things happened right away. The little comedy parts are not cringe, thank God.
i don't get why alot of you already dislike Kang Sol A - good characters are those who start of weak and then…
I think that in general some people are very anxious about this drama. A college is a place to grow not only as a professional but as a person, so it's normal to feel confused and not ready for everything. As you said, if she continues to be like that in the end it will be weird, but at the moment she is just discovering helsef like everyone else does in college.
But don't you think she is unfit to be a lawyer. She tanks every exam, she acts totally dumb when a situation…
Thank you for this comment! I totally agree and I think it's very harsh to think that if someone is not serious all the time they are don't fit for a career, that's not how life works. She clearly is a good person and cares about justice, but that's not all that matters in the Law system and that's why I want to see her developmet.
This drama is actually kind of nuts and it's hilarious. It might not be to everyone's cup of tea but I'm honestly…
Thank you, Mandy! Best comment here so far. I think some people are not getting that Cha Young is made to be annoying and forced, because as you said, it's her defense mechanism. She is a layered character and I get if someone don't like her, but don't come for JYB. Only someone who never saw her previous works can try to say that she is not a great actress, but they are wrong lol
I don't understand why jTBC is being so messy with monday-tuesday dramas informations. I think "Come to the Witch's Restaurant" is airing after SWNK, not Monthly House, but both of them have no poster, trailer, nothing.
I really loved the first episode! So happy to see Jeon Yeo Bin again in a drama, she deserves all the praise in the world. Wasn't expecting the visual, the whole episode was very pleasing to watch.
Is this worth watching? I've been considering it since it's getting a s2 but there seem to be a lot of bad reviews??
I just finished it right now and honestly, I think all the really bad reviews are little bit exagerating. It's not perfect or amazing, but I if you have free time and want something light with cute actors, Love Alarm may be for you. Just don't expect maturity from school students lol
I don't feel bad for Jae Shin at all. He lied to Song Ah for two years, never once sayed sorry to her, was unprofessional in his theatment with Hyun Seung in a work place and treats his fiancee as a dog. His storyline is so flat for me, I speed almost all his scenes.
Guys does this drama have any vibes like something in the rain ?
For me, yes. Something about the intensity and the cinematography in this drama remind me of something in the rain and one spring night. But the storyline seems far from similar.
