And, it's not about criticizing. I am not dumb or being too defensive. I understand not all dramas can please everyone. I tweeted a lot about how dumb and lazy the writer is. I "heart" all the comments that criticize this drama politely. I feel bad for my faves that they have to act in this mess.
It's about the behaviour. Criticizing the show each episode, sure, no problem. That's why we are here. But repeating stuff as if this drama has done something terrible to you yet refuse to drop the show is not it.
For people who are considering to give this a try, just do it. You might hate it so much, but there's still a chance you'll love it. So, watch it and let your heart decide. Don't let these comments affect you :)

Of course I understand that. Do you see how many times I call this show stupid? I wanted to pull all my hair out at the scene where they rescue Sunwoo on episode 8. I hate this drama, and love it at the same time so I understand the criticizing. The thing is, I don't think some comments here are actually "having fun by criticizing" like you said. I only see them repeating negative things, and spreading negativity was never "having fun". Despite having a bad writing, I still see a lot of people enjoying this so I feel like these comments may scare people who actually want to give this a try and that's so unfair. Sorry for the essay.

Some people in the comment section are really ridiculous. You already know how stupid the show is and if you can accept it, continue to watch, if you cannot, drop it. It’s just as simple as that. No freaking one force you to watch the show. Everyone can express their opinion, I know. But do it once, we get it. Keep coming back here to spread hateful words won’t make the drama get any better or you looking any smarter than us 😐

If you’re into traditional historical drama then YES! That’s one of my fave drama of all time. But it is pretty heavy on the politics and not so many romance so consider it before watching. I guess it depends on your taste also.

Good to hear haha. But since you already know how stupid and all over the place this drama is, I hope you could relax on the criticize like everyone else here. They already forgot the plot and just go with the flow lol

I think you got affected by the bad plot and tbh I totally understand. Their characters in this silly drama is not as deep as Bossam so certainly they cannot create the same kind of chemistry. But I still enjoyed immensely all the scenes where they appear together. Especially in the latest episode (got some serious butterflies)
Only 4 episodes left and I don't think it could get better, plot-wise. I agree this show has a lot of problems. They try to put everything in one and it was a mess. This is the kind of drama that you need to turn off your brain to watch. If it's not your cup of tea I think you should drop it.

Wow first time seeing someone criticize the leads' chemistry. They have been known for their amazing chemistry since previous project "Bossam : Steal the Fate" and to be honest, a lot of people just continue to watch this show because of them, including me. The writing is so weak and lazy but their chemistry saved it. But oh well, everyone has different opinion I guess. Just a bit surprise.
As for the fashion, I think they have their own stylist unless a costume is required (for disguise purpose).

What I know about Jung Ilwoo is that he chose the script based on the character he will perform. He didn’t choose it because he think it could go viral or anything. As long as he likes the character he will go for it. I agree he should try to act in something more up to his level. His actings are better than some of the top stars imo. I hope he could go for something more dark and preferably non-romantic one next time to showcase his acting skills.

Bossam is probably one of the best drama in Jung Ilwoo’s career you should check it out. Even he admits it himself. For once his actings were not held back by the lack of female leads. Yuri has this perfect chemistry with him in Bossam hence made the drama even more wonderful. The writing is consistent. I prefer more romance and less politics but overall it’s such a memorable drama.
