in ep14, Shen Run didnt look shock at all when he saw Qingyuan holding their childhood token. i take it he already know her as his childhood friend earlier than that.
my 2cents:
Shen Run was only reluctant to reveal his identity to her coz he thought she forgot about him. i remember he asked Chen Yunya "do u remember me?" or something along the line. at first, i thought he was talking about their 1st encounter when he "killed" that civillian. but when i look back, IF, he already know her identity at that time, maybe that question is supposed to be about Shen Run, her childhood friend. all this while he thought she didnt remember him. but when he saw her holding that token during the war, he realized she still remember Shen Run and their memories.

again, this is just theory. we need Yan Rui to wake up first on next episode to see what happen next 😆

no one knows, except those who already read the drama script. but there is short clips released by iqiyi on that wei guy uses qingyuan to threaten shenrun and they were alone (no other characters involved in that scene)

episode 14 is soooo freaking good it will be the 1st episode of SOTB on my rewatch list. maybe i'll rewatch it tomorrow before episode 15 (damnit we only get 1 episode tomorrow ugh 😒)

i like your theory. i love watching dramas like this, a drama that worth rewatching. and after rewatch only we can detect all the subtle interactions/expressions that we didnt catch before. i will wait till the end of this drama to see whether it deserves my time to rewatch or not 😆. i hope it wont disappoint us
