This show is so bad, and the reason is the ML’s character, I almost hated Xu Kai because of this, it’s sad…
hating the actor because of the character he played, very mature of you.. and you are clearly skipping ALOT while watching this drama coz you have no idea what you are saying tsk tsk
to be honest, i was bored at first few episodes too. but i continued watching and im glad i did. but, different people different preference. if you tried and still not liking it, i guess this drama is not for you.
coming here after found out the novel has drama adaptation. im 2 years late, but any novel reader here? is the drama similar to the novel? coz from my experience, cdramas tend to deviate alot from their novels when it comes to adaptation. i see alot of positive comments here, maybe i should give this drama a try
yeah.. SOTB is another MR.. they used him to attract investment as first billed, then cut his scenes and make the whole drama a FL focused. nothing against the actresses but the betrayal from the production side is real.
"xukai is stiff/bland here" the one you watch is Mei Zhuyu, not Xukai. he did well potraying mzy's character here. just because you prefer loud overbearing ML, doesnt mean all ML in other cdramas need to be the same.
after 800, i want SOTB to be released first, then FI. so we can get alternate ancient Kai and modern Kai back to back 😆
