the fewer fillers the better. but i hope it wont cut important scenes making the whole plot confusing. the most important question right now is.... when ?? 😫

i think the 'alive' one is new. or maybe new to fans, not him

yeah. i hate to see one member scheming the other just to win the game. it happened few times in previous seasons tho. you get to see those 'script' in other variety shows and it is fine, but in GE they should act as a team. i know it is in the script and not the member's fault but still not a fan of it.

based on previous records, all other actors/actress who left the company faced nasty defamations for months before they announced their departure.. but in xukai's case, it is so quiet.... so calm... as if..... ermm .. nahh. maybe im wrong. (i hope im wrong and it is calm before the storm). lets wait and see.

the name changed on their official page.... either just a promo tactic to celebrate autumn or the name is officially changed, im confused too

yup. i do feel nostalgic whenever ppl talk about eternal love coz this is the very drama that sucked me into c-drama land years ago.

1. today, right now, to cast LXY and ARP as side characters is very unlikely. i dont think their company will agree unless they paid them huge amount of money.

2. LXY is excellant in season1. but his age is not suitable as Wuxin anymore.. (heck, even in s1 he was hated due to his age). and i dont think he want to get bald again lol.

3. take this with a grain of salt, but season 2 is very unlikely to happen unless they change the actors.

tell me about it. their romance was awkwardly placed in the script lol.

after rewatching the ending of 800m, my excitement to watch this drama is getting higher and higher.. i'll take this as 2nd life of chenhui or something coz yeah... both have something to do with fire, one life as a criminal and the other one as an officer.... and my baby xiaohui should be given a 2nd chance for redemption.

happy watching!

yes

[ARENA magazine]

The upcoming drama SpringOfTheBlade will soon meet audiences, with XuKai portraying Shen Run, the calm, restrained Commander of the Imperial Guard. Shen Run is a shrewd and ambitious statesman who rises to power after his family is torn apart. The role is vastly different from the historical characters Xu Kai has played before.

Xu Kai shared:

"I think the biggest difference lies in the character's core nature. On top of that, the overall styling has a lot of depth and layers, which helped me immerse myself more fully in his inner world."

"Before filming began, I spent time preparing myself mentally for the role. At the same time, I combined my own understanding of the character with a number of carefully crafted performance details. Fortunately, the director also approved of those creative choices."

Xu Kai added that the character's intricate styling and makeup effectively enhance Shen Run's presence, but he hopes audiences will focus even more on the character's inner world.

"I think the restraint and complexity shaped by Shen Run's tragic past are incredibly compelling. Those inner struggles are what I tried to bring to life through my performance."

At the heart of the character lies the restraint and inner conflict born from his past. It is this emotional core that Xu Kai devoted himself to portraying and conveying to the audience.

so frustrating to see the actor works harder than the production team in promoting this drama. xukai talked about sotb in magazine, after a long time without any new material he talked in an interview and suddenly became our melon master, and now on hello saturday variety shows.

/still praying we got something sooner coz it is august already/

thanks!

ooo.. im new to the app, previously i only waited for youtube one. thanks!

i hope so. it just reminds me of when XK came to hellosaturday alone with the other GE cast (PYC) and promoted WOL alone

i thought it is the same like GE, readily subbed once released coz both are mango's shows
