If anyone is wondering the op song is Different Man by Aklo x Jay'ed (Also, mikilove13 @ d-addicts is doing…
it's a standalone promo collab, not a teaser of next episodes' content, right? Just making sure (but I'm ok with both).
Looks like they had fun making this MV. Thanks for sharing!
Imo, it was so-so. 9:9 Times Travel was much better.
Yup, they burn files from a case left by MC' dead friend and it takes them back in time to witness a tiny pieces of huge net of crime & corruption they need to put together, but with each time the timeline gets slightly off the track. What a rip off.
WOW...Neither Viki nor Drama Fever have it... TVN seems to be holding out on licensing all of a sudden....Criminal…
it's not meant for the US market to begin with. I don't know how to check their claims, but they make rather strong point in their FAQ to stress their dramas are licensed.
Does anyone know why subbing takes so long? Is it because of the lesbian issue?
what? no, haha. There are no official channels, none of legally operating sites got both rights to stream it now and license for subbing it. No license for viki or DF = no subs. Lovely people on soompi forum are transcribbing engsubs from some Indonesian streaming app and releasing it when they can. So it's gonna take a while, but I guess we should be thankful we're getting subs at all.
This drama might suffer from many casting issues and some scandals surrounding one or two former cast members, but's there's a deeper problem with getting licenses recently, not just for this one.
Guys I have a question, If Dong Cheol hid cameras and recorded what happens to Sang Mi, and post it on the internet,…
It wouldn't. I doubt it's as simple as posting a video online or even sending it to the press. With a range of influence Guseonwon has, they could just hush it and take it down before it makes a buzz. I want Jung Hoon's broadcast to tie later in the plot and I agree they need to work from the inside and gather hard evidence, both via whatever Dong Cheol's plan forsees and - judging from the preview - what Sang Hwan's spying in the Spiritual Father's office can provide. But they need more than jst evidence, they need their own network of power to push it and that is still in the making.
Even if Dong Cheol was there early enough to record ep 10's exorcism, I bet it could be dismissed as an internal practice of some cult, not taken as a serious, criminal matter. Police would try to go around this as they already did in other instances. And the general public has a memory of the goldfish - even if it hit big, constant stream of other shocking news would wash it within weeks. No one cares.
Can someone tell me if Dong Cheol and Sang Mi interact in the latest eps? Bc I'm not going to continue watching…
From ep 9:
1. DC has a slow walk scene when other guys and Sang Mi are waiting on that construction near the lake.
2. we got to know she visited him in prison and thanked him
3. when they discuss what to do *spoiler* after saving her temporarily, other guys propose to seek help with police, but only Sang Mi & Dong Cheol are sceptical and they share a meaningful look.
4. a few microscenes of Sang Hwan and Dong Cheol positioning themselves in the room in relation to Sang Mi and/or staring at her.
Sang Hwan is the one saving her though (with the other two). Dong Cheol is usually conveniently absent and/or tied in mobsters subplot. Additionally, I don't know whether you saw it or not, but there's also a lenghty scene of Sang Hwan sharing with his catatonic mother he felt in love in SM at first sight and still has feelings for her. But SM & DC chemistry is so good. They get each other.
In episode 10 he joins the cult undercover, so I hope for more shared screentime. << lol, nope.
nope.
/ok, on second thought, there are two men into Han Sun Hwa's character, but it's extremely minor. I'm not sure how the situation with Park Se Wan and two musicians develops in the last 4 episodes, but it's also barely there.
yes! inside job time!
On a sidenote, that song at the end of ep 9 was so unlike anything kdrama soundracks had to offer so far. This drama is full of surprises.

http://www.dramapassion.com claims to be legal, too.
no, wait, it's a 2003 special. My mistake.
