100% agree. Infact I prefer China not making the series at all because I know HuaLian’s story will be completely spoilt

Honestly, I'm two-minded about this being adapted live. I really want it, but also doubtful of it. The casting…
But physical wise they are very young, Xie Lian stopped aging at 17 and Hua Chen is not much older. So very hard to find the perfect actors to play the roles. I am not really keen on any live adaptation in China, as I am sure their deep love will not be adequately expressed. Example how do they handle the spiritual power transfer scenes, the huggings, the touching etc. subtle eye contacts are not enough IMHO!

xiao zhan is too deeply ingrained as wei wuxian. They need to cast someone else
