This is much lighter than the real story of the Legend of the White Snake. I actually like the actor and actress. It's pretty sad but I really like the ending. It's like Greek Methologies; it happen because it have to happen. For those who watches Korean dramas, these Chinese dramas can't be compare to Korean dramas. Chinese wuxia dramas don't have that weep drenching and/or serious drama that of Korean dramas. It's hard enough to get these light hearted and a nice ending from Chinese dramas.

Yes, I agree that BZH went crazy for 30 years since the first series hinted that he quit everything, but in this continuation, the actors changed. It's misrepresented. I don't why they would not continue the original actors until somehow BZH have Sha Mo face. It would be nice if they have at least one episode that make the connection.

This was like the Japanese version of Goosebump (if you know what i am talking about).

I totally understand what you mean. I completely understood the serious of the content and the comedy. I was laughing so hard watching this film. omg!

I kind of don't want Korea version of the remake. I like this version much better. Also I'm more of a Japanese drama fan so that's probably why.

It's been a couple years since I watched the drama, It was pretty serious at the end. I don't think I like the male main character very much, but the story was more close to realism. At one point, I remember seeing zombies..

This drama was pretty lighthearted. I think reading the manga would be interesting. I like both the main character.
