I think it is partially intentional but the drama is getting many views, on YT the first episode has over 3 million views. Maybe they're trying to keep the promotional factor lowkey due to it still airing and how censorship can ban the drama midway.

Wen Ke Xing is the leader of ghost valley and he is the most powerful, he is more powerful then everyone there, but he actually doesn't want to be apart of the Ghost Valley and wants to break away from it. But he has to do this secretly. Also, hes trying to find out who killed his parents too and we're gonna find out soon I think.
