Yeah, but the screenwriter can't wait too long to make us start liking his adult self or the 2ML will swoop in…
This screenwriter made the mistake you talk about in her another drama, Start Up. Everyone loved second lead so much that when female lead ended up with the main lead, people gave the drama low scores. Suddenly ending up with low ratings also happens to the dramas where the main lead dies at the finale.
A song for you by Joonil Jung made it even more perfect. And how you express that scene is so beautiful. He was…
Right! I want to see how happy they will be when they find out they are both from future. This is not a short adventure but a long one that can continue till the end of their life.
Tears in heaven performed by Ha Eun Gyeol was π
It was beautiful. But I expected him to suddenly sing a song from 2000s and shock Eun Yu. Of course, making her fall in love is more important. So, an impressive and romantic song is a better choice. I am glad I am not the screenwriter of this drama. The drama would end in 5 minutes due to lack of topic to cover.
I think I am in love with a drama. While watching Twinkling Watermelon, I smile all the time even at scenes where there is no trigger for an emotion, I pause the drama frequently to save the previous scene permanently to my brain, when the episode ends, I say what will I do with my life until next episode. So, it is official Twinkling Watermelon is my first love, nae cho sarang. I should watch it when first snow drops, too.
At first it was really good, but later they forgot about how they built the story and the drama became something different. But I gave 8.5 to this drama for the sake of first half or maybe a little more.
I tell myself everyday that I'll wait for it to finish then watch the rest, but every Monday and Tuesday I watch…
Just watch every week. By the time the drama ends, you will forget about first episodes and can rewatch the drama immediately. At least this is what happens to me and what I do for the dramas I like so much.
Love this drama and I hope the crap being slung at everyone stops. From experience I dated a Muslim guy whilst…
Let's just say being a part of a religion does not solely make it certain to obey its all rules. There are too many different religions, but say there is only one. And people who chooses to have a religious belief belives in that religion since there is only one. If it meant beliving it definitely makes it possible to perfectly practicing it, then everyone would deserve to earn the heaven of that religion. But is it possible, really? Some people have to be better than others. This is the way we live in this world. So, in the end, Buddhism, Christianity, Confucianism, Hinduism, Δ°slam tells people to follow and avoid doing too many things, but how many of the people manages that? Prince in the drama and your ex boyfriend are probably one of them. Probably, we are, too. No human being can represent a religion on their own. So looking at a fictional character or a real person, no sane person would blame a religion. But in King the Land's case, no one even said the Prince is Muslim. We don't have knowledge about his private life in this drama. Personally, while watching last 2 episodes, I never thought he represented Islam. I did not even think he represented Arabians, because this is fiction. Here we watch numerous Koreans dramas, but I don't think Korean people are exactly like what we watch on dramas. Since I haven't lived in Korea, haven't had Korean friends and haven't made a research on them, Korean people are mystery to me despite watching numerous kdramas.
Actually, King the Land praised Arabian prince, too. Convincing him to stay at their hotel was a sign of success and it became a competition among siblings who will inherit the hotel. When the prince decided to stay at King Hotel, the father was boasting to his friend. He is a VIP costumer, but I don't think he pays more than other VIPs just because he has more money. They cared about him and treated him nicely, as well. To be honest, I was surprised to see people's reaction here. I thought everyone would talk about how good this episode was. Prince was a fun character. He did not do anything wrong, but had a crush to Sarang innocently. And the arguments between male lead and him looked like the ones siblings have to annoy each other.
Wow, Turks would kill themselves if they had the sensitivity of Arabs. In almost all American movies/shows mentioning Turkey, we are depicted as living in a desert with camels. However, there is no desert in Turkey at all. I remember in the Smallville series, Clark Kent flew to Istanbul and Istanbul was portrayed as a complete desert. But Istanbul has a rainy climate since it is located in the Black Sea region. Additionally, we are generally portrayed as the bad guys in Western movies due to historical enmity. Whenever a Turk goes abroad, the first sentence they hear is "but you don't look like a Turk", most likely because the image they have in mind is that of the ugliest creature in the world.
Apart from that, I would like to say some people reacted to this drama saying Islam is not like that. Yes, it is not. But King the Land did not say anything about Islam at all. They just portrayed a random fictional prince.
And how you express that scene is so beautiful. He was really brave. I love his character so much.
