I dunno why they've decided to change this in the drama, but in the manga ML didn't go looking for FL's first…
Maybe we're getting his perspective but I think he was always like this- but there was a certain suaveness to it. Calling the crush and then calling the FL when she speaks to him AND the staring soullessly into the crushes eyes.
ALSO! In the original, he was more about helping her just to help her. He seemed like he would be happy no matter…
not crazy, I agree with you. since we know his character, it's all okay. but lmao imagine you boss staring at you all the time. only Na In Woo gets a pass.
the webtoon was amazing tho. made me fall in love with the ml. am hoping for more scenes to get adapted.
I quite liked that they showed them being arrested for her murder. That was missing for me. I don’t agree with…
Haha, same. Loved PMR, and omg, My Man is Cupid is my fave out all that you mentioned. I'm enjoying Park's marriage, My Demon- finding it hard to get into it after ep 8ish. Will try Love Song.
he asked her about the clothes because he didn’t want her to change her outfit and be pretty for the husband.…
Yeah, and that was more apparent in the manwha. Him being all shocked in the office, but not during the weekend, made that point difficult to come across.
That's still plenty time, right? Dating for 6ish months should be something they reveal on insta?
Actually- When scrolling through instagram, I saw this one video of a guy dissing/parodying Gwanhee. It was hilarious! But, I read in one of the comments (2ish weeks old I think) that Hyesun apparently like it and shared that video on her insta or something. Don't know what to make of this lol.
I quite liked that they showed them being arrested for her murder. That was missing for me. I don’t agree with…
Ah, I agree. The dark tone was good. Suicide is a bit much, rest all good. I think the grand dad should come around. I can't wait for the wedding either!
It's actually a top 10 kinda webtoon, so it's hard to beat that honestly. But yeah, so fun to see it on screen nonetheless. Do you know of any such other webtoons? Ahaha, cause the points you brought up are in congruence to what I think. We may have similar taste.
1. The panel: So fucking good, honest and entertaining. 2. Gwanhee: Showed character development. Plus, the panel dunking on him was so awesome. I think all hate him ahaha, but he's got game, so it's like okay dude, we'll have fun with you. Also, him crying MADE ME CRY IDK WHAT THE FUCK. It was such confused crying on my part lmao. 3. Hyesun: I really liked how she could critique and choose Gwanhee and the same time. Love doesn't make you blind. And she was genuine in her feelings too. 4. Hajeong: Best girl. 5. Dex calling Gyuri shallow: Perfect. 6. Did I say the panel? Da Hee and other lady host's perspectives compared to what the boys think was actually interesting. 7. Sieun and Minwoo: The inferno couple. Quite a solid storyline. 8. Jinseok. Lmao, best guy. 9. Gwanhee again: We saw that red flags can also be genuine. His behaviour also comes from his role as an athlete I think. In either case, I really had fun with him. He's a genuine and shit person. What a funny and rare combo. Plus. I liked that he humbled all the girls, and was humbled himself by Hajeong and Hyesun lol. 10. The cast seems get along despite at times being shallow as fuck. Good chemistry except for Hanbin, who gave up after getting into paradise for the first time on the last day- lmao wtf was that.
Ngl, I really prefer the webtoon, but that's also because the plot is paced really well. It's much better than so many other manwhas so that probably doesn't make it a fair comparison. But I really like the drama a lot. Here are some things they changed and how I feel about them:
Not totally on-board: 1. The ML: I'm glad that the awkward characterization is still there but manwha ML didn't revolve around the FL this much. Hell, the readers didn't even know he went back in time until very after. I kinda miss their webtoon interactions, small exchange of coffee cups, sneak glances, car convos, it was all really subtle yet so impactful. Heart fluttering. Here, when they ML asked her about her outfit, I was kinda confused? I really like Na In Woo and Jiheok, and I'm very excited for his change in tonal shift in acting. Hope they do justice to him. I have faith in the actor and since he's my dealing with my favourite character in the story, I have hope.
2. More ML stuff: Now, in the webtoon, the ML is a boss. And that is very apparent. The husband guy is terrified of him, and the ML even exerts his authority many times. Even the bully manager is scared of him. Hell, even the FL, a bit, maybe. But, this dichotomy between being a true boss and a genuine admirer make him so sexy. I also feel like the FL and ML had a lot of genuine scenes and more chemistry in the webtoon. Hope we can see that translate!
3. FL's MAKE-OVER: The webtoon ML made it a point to tell the FL that she was attractive without glasses. To me, I really liked this. Yes, the FL changed up her dressing style BUT she was shown to be pretty, throughout. The ML wasn't caught off-guard because of her appearance but because of his feelings for her.
4. ML's MAKE-OVER: Bro. The ML in the webtoon only removed his glasses. He was always handsome, and wore formal suits- look hot as hell to me at least. In the drama, a lot of messaging is supported by appearances, but whilst a tool in the webtoon, was never the end goal.
5. High School Bullies: Webtoon had a satisfying end to this and a lot of potential for the future.
6. Hye yoon: Her relationships with the ML was truly a mystery, kept a lot of readers guessing. I think, in the drama, they revealed it too quickly.
7. Eun ho wasn't what I imagined: Eun-ho was suave, you could really understand why he was her first love. His confession scene in the drama was really extra. The manwha ended that chapter really cleanly as well. Plus, the ML wasn't involved with Eun ho in any form lmao, I don't know why they did that in the drama.
Quite nice: 1. The husband: I have to say, I don't hate him due to Yi Kyung. He is one of the main reasons I'm able to separate the webtoon from the drama. the tension in the manwha was quite high, but because of the actor, it's kinda light- which I don't hate. It's just different.
2. The revenge: So, in the webtoon, the FL was kinda obsessed with setting the husband and the friend up together, but here, it's kinda nice to do things for herself.
3. ML's time travel: In the webtoon, the story was much darker. Here, the reasoning, though a little bland, is much more realistic. But, I still feel like they could've paced this out a bit more, cause from the drama, we all caught on pretty early, in ep 1. May be that was their intention? So, I'm open to this approach. Maybe we get a peak into how ML uses his future knowledge. This justifies his behaviour till now as well, so this could be an awesome change!
4. FL drawing boundaries: In the drama, the FL is straightforward in her intention to command more respect from her friend. In the webtoon, she was still putting on an act initially to prevent the husband and the friend from having any suspicions. That was became she was worried they'd do something to her. Here, that doesn't seem to be the case.
5. The ML: I love him bro. That's it. Na In Woo's smile can save the world and feed my future children. Ji Hyeok's entire "You shouldn't get married but marriage is important" IS SO PRECIOUS UwU.
Bottomline- I have my preferences but I really like the drama a lot. The plot is so solid that I would consume this story in any format. I'm really looking forward to see more scenes adapted, and think about how becoming a drama can change a visual novel. It's interesting to see a novel become a manhwa then a drama.
*SPOLIERS*-OMGGGGG just when you think you can trust someone, something happens that shows you the opposite- i…
Gives me trust issues for sure, agree with everything you've said though. Love the FL, Nara is so good at giving us panic attacks, queen behaviour lol.
Guys, what are your theories about the stalker? The thing I'm not convinced that the husband is the stalker cause how do you expect me to believe that he's been stalking for 7 years. Like, he could've easily killed her off when she's sleeping. So, what is his motive for wanting to destroy her life?
This is why I though Tae Ho was the stalker. But, everyone in the comments section trusts him too much, so I'm doubting myself. I feel like a clown in this serious drama LOL.
BRO WHO THE FUCK REMOVED THE LOYAL MALE LEAD TAG?!
Haven't caught up to ep 3 and 4, but I guess we don't get any love in this one 3 But, this drama gives me a psychological mind fuck in the best possible way though lol.
LMAO. Eunho must be confused as fuck.
since we know his character, it's all okay. but lmao imagine you boss staring at you all the time. only Na In Woo gets a pass.

I meant webtoon recs lol ahaha.
