By angst I meant as example when he need to act mean part like he doesn't love Shanggu / Houchi he doesn't give me the bad / alpha male kind of vibe. Still giving the good vibe so it doesn't hit the "angst" kind of what I want where I'm supposed to be mad at him and the betrayal Houchi thought he did. It was okay tho I'm not that invested in the leads story compared to other Xianxia story. Zhou Dong Yu act okay but Xu Kai is a let down in terms of angst part. Favourite character is Tian Qi and the two times I cry is because of deaths related to him.
7.5/10. My rating could be better if they wrapped it up nicely. This season is much darker compared to the other season but everything felt too rushed.
