Story moves fast. OTP was cute. Chemistry 100%. Just annoyed by the second heroine for the later parts of the drama. I just find the reason she becomes like that is lame and not strong enough.
In my opinion this is better than Put Your Head (because they are from the same writer). I love love love the hero. And heroine is easy in the eyes. Story also a bit better. Writer explore more on mental sickness etc.
Other Oldie but Goodie Kdramas I would recommend are The Princess' Man (2011), Nine (2013), 49 Days (2011), Can You Hear My Heart (2011), H.I.T. (2007) and New Heart (2007)
2012 is really THAT year. I would say one of my favorite drama year. Nowadays people usually say 2016 is the year but for me it is always 2012 (Bridal Mask, King 2 Hearts, Queen In Hyun's Man, Reply 1997, The Innocent Man are all my 9+ ratings).
First two episodes was very good then it just falters. By almost the end I was more interested with the second couple the married with kid but aren't sleeping together.
Good article. I would agree to all other than number 4.
The thing about childhood trope is that if it really is important to the plot and how the character growth through out the whole drama then I would be fine with that (eg Its Okay To Not Be Okay and Come & Hug Me). But if it just thrown there to be there just for fate I would totally agree with you on how it bugs me off (eg Her Private Life, Cinderella & Four Knights, While You Were Sleeping). Would totally accept Friends to Lovers story better.
Nevertheless some Cliches I could accept depends on the situation. But most of the time it is just cringiness to the core.
Park Seo Joon (I Summon You Gold) , Nam Goong Min (Can You Hear My Heart) and Joo Won (Ojakgyo Brothers) did do…
Yeah if we talking about now from the list maybe I can imagine Shin Sung Rok could do one.
Other than that the other actors has a salary pay that is too high for a weekend family drama with a low budget. They also need to share screen time with almost 3-4 couples.
Binged this in 10 days. I thought I just started this and will play it in the background while I do other things or in between dramas but damn I was hooked.
The first reason I really want to try this is because of the writer. She is really one of my favourite writer.
While watching this I Loved all the couples. I cry and laugh at each episode. The last time I enjoy family drama is Father Is Strange. Picking a favourite is hard but this comes as a tie to What Happened to My Family and My Too Perfect Sons for me.
haven't really caught a family drama before, will u recommend me one? something like a family drama starter pack…
1. What Happened to My Family 2. Father is Strange 3. Five is Enough. Most KBS family weekend dramas are very good but this 3 are my favourite in recent years alongside Once Again.
If you can stand older dramas 1. Ojakgyo Family 2. My Too Perfect Sons 3. My Love My Family
I love this drama the isn't drag and especially I love the ending....... Can anyone recommend me a drama that…

Honestly, the trailer led me to believe this was going to be light-hearted drama like "Once Again", unfortunately…
Park Seo Joon (I Summon You Gold) , Nam Goong Min (Can You Hear My Heart) and Joo Won (Ojakgyo Brothers) did do a weekend drama when they just started out. Shin Sung Rok did had also but I haven't watch it since it is so old already.
Most popular actors start from weekend family usually as the youngest couple. There are also Ji Chang Wook (My Too Perfect Sons) Song Joong Ki (My Precious You), Seo Kang Joon & Park Hyung Sik (What Happened to My Family). All of the said dramas are also one of my favorites family dramas and very recommended.
I'm already a Lee Je Hoon fan but falls hard to Choi Woo Shik here. I wish he acts more characters like this then the one he did in dramas.
