true breaking up can't be count out as one of the possibilities but that would be bad writing.

both of them are adults, they both know how important it is to still live as an individual even though you are in a relationship in order not to lose one's self in the process. ung needs to pursue his dream while being in a long-distance relationship and what yeon-su can do is to fully support him while being in a long-distance relationship. i think that's how they can grow with each other in this given situation.

cause if they break-up that wouldnt be healthy anymore and there would be a huge possibility that the cycle would repeat again and again.

or if possible if they will break-up i hope it would be a healthy break-up. in that way it could be considered as good writing. (added this cause i feel like they will lol. i hope not, but yeah ldr is gonna hard for sure and some problems may occur that would hinder ung's growth as well)

that's what i think so too and it makes more sense to interpret that the last scene are the 2 universes where in the alternate universe, both si on and jae sang survived.
