you're right, I do like the aspect of the fl being the one protecting the prince but overall I just wish there was a saeguk that didn't simply focus on the royal family and the fight for the crown

I found the first episode boring....it has all the same tropes usually seen in a saeguk and I expected more tbh. I'm tired of most saeguk dramas simply focusing on the royal family, a mystery of who's the enemy, and adding an annoying love triangle. I can name 3 other dramas that came out recently and had this same premise. Please give us something different!
