As I just finished this today, Jan 25th, after starting from very first day of release, I'm glad I'm not the only one. It took me almost 3 months to finish the last 2 episodes because the plot became tedious and uninteresting. I do agree with a lot of your reviews and this is another one. I appreciate what Yin and War did for the BL Industry with this show, but it definitely was a struggle to finish for me. I found as the weeks went on, it was taking me longer and longer to finish the episodes. I get the hype as a whole, but it won't be a recommendation to others.

Good to know about the repetitiveness. I read one review where there was a noticeable cut. I don't know if they watched the uncut or cut version with that edit.

I also found WeTV, with Thailand VPN, is showing the "Uncut" version. I have no idea what the cut and uncut will look like. Also, WeTV has the first 2 episodes. I might give them a watch on days where there isn't anything else to watch.

I will say this has been one of my favorite BLs this quarter, if not this year. I look forward to it every week and love how they are progressing the story. It doesn't feel forced or rushed as Yu and Ai's relationship unfolds. I didn't think I'd like it this much, but definitely enjoying it every week.

The Christmas music made me laugh. Like I couldn't help it as it felt SO out of place.

I think I used my VPN to Thailand, but I could be remembering wrong.

Are you still watching and rating it at 7.5? I watched the first and second episodes, but I don't think I can make it to the 3rd, even with Kimmon.

I agree that the first episode didn't really hook me and felt like it dragged. But I'm holding out hope that it will pick up and get better. I'm looking forward to all the vampire BLs coming this year.

Any time there is a new BL that comes out, I quickly see if you have posted some short review. I tend to agree with your reviews, so I will give the show a chance. So, thank you for doing it.
