First of all, this is Xianxia done right. I've never literally cried in a drama, but all Jiang Cheng x Wei Ying interactions were so heart wrenching.
Personally, the drama was all about Wei Ying for me, and Lan Zhan was more of a supporting character (well.. the title says it is supposed to be about the Untamed one). But I thought I'd be shipping them all the time or be annoyed at the BL turned Bromance, but I was never bored for a second to hold that against it. I hate reincarnation in Chinese historicals but here I was waiting for it to happen. I wanted more of the present. I don't do Xianxia/wuxia. I've slept through Peach Blossoms, and crawled through ashes. I never thought I'll watch one again, let alone be hooked to one. But the story was so nicely done. I surprise myself.
Give Sean an Emmy or whatever. Wei Ying is the most beautifully executed character. Though all the actors were amazing - Lan Zhan with his poker face, Wen Ning was more adorable than I had imagined him to be, Jiang Cheng and Jin Ling being all Tsundere (but Jiang Cheng, you need to watch your tongue).. Sean was just perfect.

Acting : 10/10 (You'll see Sean in my DP soon)
Music : 10/10 (I have a new ringtone now)
Story : 9/10 (Come on China. What's with the ending.)
Cinematography : 10/10

I'm in the afterglow, so I rated it high. I tend to calm down and revise ratings after a while. Tharntype went up. 2 Moons went down. You never know with me.
I might not rewatch the entire thing, but I'll continue watching mvs and all (which I did even before I watched it).

It was perfect but there's something short of a 10. It's just that I was not shipping those two. Which was probably the intention of a bromance, but still I wanted something more between the leads. It was like there's a platonic love but no sizzle. I can't explain but whatever, I loved it.

Ps. I didn't skip. 50 eps weren't enough.

Don't say Tharntype. It made be angsty but solved it in 20 min so i was good. Tharntype has become my guilty pleasure. I'm currently rewatching. And the story is meh but the chemistry is killing me.

Whether it is food or drama, every one will have their own taste. I read a theory once. Let's say there is a restaurant that serves really amazing capsicum pizza. It was made by the world's best chef and is one of the best delicacies of the place.
But i dont eat capsicum. Now, no matter how good that pizza is, I won't like it. It is just not good for me. Does that make it a bad pizza, NO! But still, it won't change my taste.

Similarly, people will like what they like. Some like Lee min Ho, i find him overrated and mundane. Some like historicals, they put me to sleep. I love BLs, some people don't. Now, i can suggest them to watch it but if they don't like it, they don't. I can't tie them to a chair and make them watch it. Nor would it make it a bad drama, just because they don't like it.

As long as someone doesn't use bad language or hate, everyone is entitled to dislike something. If you like something, you can also dislike something. Accept it.

Also, noone's saying they're bad people or bad mouthing them or writing hateful stuff.. it's just a poll. Like the drama you liked and one you didn't like. Or when you vote for a best actor, it will always make someone end as the worst actor. This just put the voting upside down.
