I forgot to mention that all the things male lead is doing; most if them is during when she is sleeping or drunk.
Also, it's just sad how dramas treat consent at times in novel and dramas. It's probably because every other novel that I read (excluding chestnut) were more toxic, and hence I'm more lenient to this one. I also skipped the parts initially because they treated his gestures as a comic night sleeping thing but it surely gets better.

I agree to all of it. Initially, I could not get used to the ML and his actions as well. But it gets better after chapter 400, but considering there are 2400 chapters, I found it better. But you're right with your assessment. The start of the novel was slightly toxic. It was rape but it's just that both of them were victims to a crime. So, I didn't dwell much on it. Most cdramas are pretty cliche, so I found this relatively better. Don't ever read bringing national husband home and a billion stars don't amount to you. They are super toxic.
