I thought I’d just omit their names in my head and treat it as a Love by Chance spin off but it didn’t quite do the trick. The characters were different. Ae and Tin were kind of emotional and silly, whereas Can was bossy and arrogant. Pete was manly (which I liked) but I missed the innocence. It was cute but there was something amiss. It would have been a 7 but Noh was hot. I haven’t seen Lovesick but I loved him here
It gave me What’s wrong with Secretary Kim feel. It was warm and fluffy. The Main couple was beyond adorable. LDW was super handsome. And though there wasn’t much going on, it wasn’t boring. Whenever it went dark, they just sprinkled pink. I guess it wasn’t dark for more than 10 min in a stretch. The plot was not strong. There were too many side characters that weren’t dont justice to (Uri Sang Woo needed more story). And that is my only complain. It’s probably minus 1 for Sang woo couple, minus 0.5 for the poetic paralegal who was so invested, minus 0.5 for not enough on the front desk girl who looked like a sorted and smart character. And minus 0.5 for the manager, and the two CEOs and the two interns. I mean those guys were so cute, and misused. To compare it with Romance is a bonus book, this was way better. I felt this had a truly strong FL. She did not piggyback on the ML and was cheery and positive all along. I was expecting a spoilt actress, but she was a great character. The ML melted so quickly, that it was adorable. All in all, it was a fluff fest.
I am really really happy you inlcuded Long Time No See, I've rewatched it 4 times and just did so with a friend…
Long time no see is hands down the best korean gay romance. Strongberry is really bringing quality content and it would be only fair to include it. I’ve rewatched it twice myself. Thanks for reading.
Agree on her having this bossy charm! Well, all the roles she has played are actually strong characters (e.g.…
I know! Though i dont watch reality shows, but I saw some videos of her on reality shows, and she was so adorable. But I would love to see her in a show where she is a narcissist boss who falls for a timid subordinate, preferably played by Song Joong ki. Oh my heart!
