Just finished watching it and I loved it. Now I don’t know what to do with my life lol. Pls do recommend me…
From Dont sleep on me’s suggestions, Sotus series is my fave followed by Love by chance. Also, I’d suggest you watch Sotus from the subber’s official site (pinkmilksubs). She has brilliant and nasty comments. Hope you like it as well.
Adding to it -
1. HiStory series - Right or Wrong and Obsessed being my personal faves.
2. Long Time No see - short webseries
3. Our Skyy - Anthology of specials from various series
You mentioned the two of my most favourite scenes from my sunshine. First when he thinks she is about to leave and he pushes her down. And even after the apparent scare, she lets him prop on her shoulder. Oh my. I died. Holy water is not enough. Just dip me in the god damn sea. The grab and kiss at her door. It might look crazy to my sane self, but a part of me wants the guy I love to just go for it!
It sort of reminded me of Shin Segi withdrawal syndrome, but ofcourse not Ji Sung level good (not even close). The romance was poor for a rom com. She was clearly in love with Xiao Xiao but then she fell for Chi Mo parallely. And then you made the nicer personality go through shit. I mean we all loved Shin Segi but we knew it was only fair for him to go as the FL clearly loved the main personality. But here they so messed up the romance. The side personality fell too soon for her and she for him. And then boldly did things. Main personality was not in love at all but wakes up one day and Viola! I felt too bad for Xiao Xiao. He was clearly cheated on.
I was waiting for the subs for over a year and thoroughly disappointed.
Thanks for the update. I am reading 10-manbun aoi and though I am scared, I really want to know how it ends since the manga is still scanlating. Which reminds me, do they have Akaiito adaptation?
It was cute. The sexual tension was enticing. And I think upto episode 11, I was really loving it. But then it went meh.
I know I shipped Wai x Apo, but it does not change the fact that Waii cheated on Fai, who was so far one of the nicest girlfriends in a BL. I’m personally a commitment phobe, because I know how valuable loyalty in a relationship is, so I wouldn’t get into something until I am sure. So, I don’t get change of hearts. There will always be someone better. There are billions of people. But when you fall in love with someone while being committed to someone else, what about the partner? What about the one still in love? I get when relationships dry out and you mutually break up. Or you talk about not being happy to the other person, try to work out and then call quits. But liking someone while in a relationship is hurtful to the other person. And in this one, he doesn’t want to let both of them go. Because he has been hurt, he does not want to hurt her. But because he healed him, he does not want to let him go. And technically, I shipped a cheater with a guy who hit on a guy who was already dating. But morally, this was fucked up. I felt really bad for Faii. Are you supposed to let go if your partner falls out of love? What was your fault to be undeserving of love?
Apo was really cute. I could not take my eyes off him. And he stood strong on keeping his distance when he was being treated like an option. I felt the ending was very rushed and it did not do justice to Apo and the way he was hurt.
Fah and Pan - I am okay with Pan going out with Fah. If a straight guy can love a man, a lesbian can also love a man. They are bisexual and it’s okay. Love knows no gender. But I didn’t like them as a couple as they had no chemistry. They felt like best friends and not lovers.
Achi and Klauy - Klauy was a bully and mostly forced his way. I did not like the way he treated Achi, and I did not ship them.
The other two guys - what the hell was going on with them? Was he so angry because his friend liked a girl and didn’t give him time or was something cooking?
Coach and Kan - I get you like each other but I wish one of you looked younger or older, as the age gap sort of messed up the whole thing. They were nice to each other but the age gap was evident and messed up the chemistry.
This was as perfect as perfect could be. I really hope there are more Korean series with Bl themes. Mostly mainstream dramas use gay themes either for comic relief or unrequited love. It’s rare to see a pure romance executed so brilliantly. Kudos!
These two are my new ship!! I did not expect such good acting from new actors. They deserve more recognition!
Ps. I have developed a crush on Seung ho. Really hope to see him in more series.
Can you tell me the ending? I don't mind spoilers but I hate open ending, tragedy and separations..
It’s an open ending. She rejects him, but later they hug at the train station when she is leaving. You can interpret that as friends or a promise to meet again in the future as the girl believed a hug is the closest gesture of love. So it is left for us to decide.
