What happens to AePete in the novels is awful. It goes into every BL cliché and they spend years apart. I'm kind…
I agree. The director did a great job with the novel. I didnt like MIR but again it might be the novel’s fault. But for LBC, i wish there was a special just to mend my broken heart. The 13 eps were masterpieces. I don’t blame him. I am just sad I guess. I think for Ae Pete, I want nothing more. Anything more, and I fear it would be KornKnock. But I just wanted Techno to find someone better and TinCan to be happy. The drama is so good that it has rattled me enough to be sad IRL. That speaks for itself.

I know. I was not a fan of the director since I did not like MIR. And this show isn’t bad. But I don’t get why Tin Can need to have a sad ending. Also when Can accepts that maybe he feels the same. Pick and Rome didn’t end up as a couple after S1 but they didn’t end it as a sad ending. Also, we had s2 which we don’t get here. Apart from that, Techno. He was a gem of a person. To make him be with a raping sociopath isn’t a happy ending. I feel robbed.
P.s. the director is only 29. Almost my age!
P.p.s sorry for the rant. I am a emotionally shaken atm!

If I dont watch the last episode, in my head, Tin and Can will be together. And Techno will be the happy single Captain. And this will be one of my fave BLs.
I totally agree with you about kla and techno i watched the uncut episode and their scene really creeped me out…
I mean let’s say Can was confused but he lead tin on. And confusion is okay if there is a s2. Even Rome and Pick did not end up as a couple after s1. But it was okay. But here there is no s2 and you leave my Tin crying in the shower. I haven’t watched the last episode yet and don’t know if i can. I saw Tincan cut and am bummed.

Plus Can accepting he likes Tin but still not ready would have been acceptable but not as a series end. I mean Tin has been through a lot. He finally started trusting someone only to be heartbroken. I feel so bad for him :,(

Omg! Kla gets a happy ending. That’s absurd! And Tin Can to not end up together.. Urgh! That’s twisted. I think it will be an 8.5 for me as well.
Have they translated the novel? I want to read about TinCan.
I didnt watch it while airing but saw it before the last ep was out. As reviews till ep 13 were so optimistic. I thought what could go wrong in last episode. But now I am so sad that i dont have the guts to watch the last ep.
I have watched 13 episodes so far and it might be one of my favourite BLs. I am not judging people who are downvoting it because you’re entitled to your opinion, but please give genuine reasons in reviews that might be helpful to people. 1 rating and calling it cliche is absurd. It’s adapted from a novel and so they stick to the story. Personally, I think Tar-Tum and Kla-Techno storyline feel cramped up. There is not enough screentime for them for the audience to relate to the characters and I find Kla super creepy. For a cheerful person like Techno to end up with a sociopath like him, I'd be very disappointed. Also, techno’s brother is sick in the head. There is one thing shipping your friend with your brother, but he is selling him off. Had it been a sister, people would have been outraged. It’s not fair. Techno does not deserve a creep like Kla. Similarly, I find Tum quite selfish. Not Kla level shitty, but he is not understanding at all.
Instead of putting these two couples, they could have given us more of TinCan. I am satisfied with Ae Pete (one of the best relationship ever) but instead of the other two couples whose story went nowhere and was practically rushed, we could have concentrated on the two couples. I might be biased atm as I am emotionally shaken and a sucker for happy endings, I might have settled for an open ending instead. I read the comments and I get a gist of what it’ll be. Someone said the director wanted to be realistic by giving a couple a sad ending, but I think Techno without Kla would be the best thing I would want to see. Again, I haven’t seen the last episode but I am on TinCan ship. And I won’t fall down to 1/10 because I love the series so far but a crappy conclusion where not needed and no hopes for season 2 might break my heart and cloud my judgement. It’s a 9/10 so far.
Edit : For anyone second guessing, the series is a must watch. The main focus is Ae-Pete couple which is relationship goals. As for how it ends, we need to understand that there was a season 2 planned which was axed. So even if there are things that didn’t go as planned, it is not fine to discredit the good parts of a really decent BL. I smiled throughout and my heart broke as well. For a show to bring out all kinds of emotions is achievement enough. We can feel whatever we want but give credit where it is due.
A much longer TinCan kiss / conversation at Tin's home, where Can seems to like kissing him, which makes the end…
Thanks for the spoiler. I really want to watch the director’s cut subbed but can’t find it anywhere. Do you have it subbed?
I’ve seen 13 episodes so far but so much to take place just in the last episode is distressing. None the less, it will be one of my fave BLs because even if it breaks my heart to know that Tin and Can cannot be together and happy, I liked the remaining of the series. I still need to watch the last episode to decide whether Can dumping Tin was justified because even though Tin was a jerk, he was hurt and deserved one chance at being happy.
That Kla guy was creepy from day one. And creepier was the brother who was letting him with chances with his own brother. Had it been a woman, and a brother doing the same, people would have been outraged. Techno was raped. He was such a gem of a person. How can they do that to him? And even Tum forced himself on Tar. Even if you don’t know what he was hiding, it was too much.
My heart is breaking for Tin and Techno. I don’t know if I have the heart for watching the last episode.
I thought there would be cheating (like most BLs where there are straight turned gay (Bisexual) leads) but it was very realistic. Gump was attracted to the roommate and though he did not act on it, he did make Nai insecure unintentionally. Nai loved Gump throughout. I don't think he liked the friend, but swayed in a drunken stupor after being ignored by Gump and watching him with the other guy. He instantly regretted the kiss. Both of them were jealous for each other, but I loved how Nai pursued Gump unlike part 1.

*drowns self*
How is My Dream?
I am conflicted between the Kiss series and going back to my beloved yaoi mangas!!

Though it’s one of faves, i left a long rant on LBC page >.<

Currenty crushing over Love by Chance!
