First few episodes need to built up the plot and characters so some might find it slow paced but still interesting for me at least and latest episodes are really good

It's part of her character..she's only 14-15 yrs old so basically a teenager and have a rebellious tendecy at that..but her character will grow later in the drama when she's in the palace..same with ml's character

If you read the novel they really are, specially fl here..I love how lusi conveys the character and the facial expressions that she make..i'm waiting for the scenes of ml that I know he will nail right..they really did a good casting for this drama, even grandma cheng as dramatic as she is...

Most chinese actors really look like skelators because of cnetz being to critical to what they assumed as 'beautiful' but definitely not leo...blogger obviously not seen leo topless...lol..if you compare him to other male chinese actors out there, he's definitely more buff

Buy if she will the son the sister in law might raise it as her own since she didn't give birth to a boy which is more preferred by the grandma

Yeah, and considering this is his first costume romAnce drama..I think he did a good job at the meeting scene of each 3mls at the lantern festival

The last half part of the novel is mostly about ml story..so both actors got enough screen time because 1st part is mostly about fl...viewers need to chill and enjoy the drama as it is as the story progresses and not worry about who gets the most screen time

The thing is this is only the first few episodes in a 50+ drama.some people are always critical to the point of absurdness..not all drama are in your face whatever, they need to set the tone of the characters and the story and to judge this drama as a whole for just a few episodes aired which was not even half of the whole story drama is just unfairly..

Agree, and I totally loving this director for going this route and staying true to novel in these first few episodes..this story not solely focuses on romance..there's a lot of storytelling that it focuses on, it's not just an in your face romance story per se
