this drama had a very interesting concept but it fails to perform to it's full potential. the male lead's acting is very monotonous, he has no range at all. in terms of chemistry, i could see myself rooting more for Kang Sa Ra and Eun Ho. the pacing is also a bit weird. the changing faces gimick could've been used more, but i feel like they just forgot that was a thing. it's still an interesting show but no more than a 6/10.
it was pretty good. everyone had a happy ending and it was overall a very fluffy drama which i loved. the only thing that really irked me is that Kim Min Kyu found out about Ji Ah too late. we had very little time to actually see them enjoy life as themselves which is a shame.
just finished it. absolutely loved it. it was a pretty consistent 9/10 throughout the whole 16 episodes. i loved the story and the themes it touched on. the cyclical fate of humans and the world. the humans who end up being more demonic than the demon and the demon who ends up being the most human out of all of us. there were also no cringe-inducing moments i felt the need to skip over so that definitely contributes to it's high rating
this was my gateway into dramas. it was something familiar having already watched the US version. i loved how they drew parallels between the 2 versions. they were like little easter eggs for those familiar with the US version. aside from that, the acting is good. the story isn't a straight copy of the US version either which i appreciate. the ending was also top tier. i just wish we'd gotten a second season
i loved this drama, the leads had good chemistry together. the supporting cast was also very good. story wise it was okay, but it was too short. there were some things i would've liked resolved like the secret behind Don Se Ra's supervision. it's a solid 8/10 it's nothing new for sure, but it's well executed.
i loved this drama more than i thought i'd do. the story was masterful, the acting was on point. everything was just great. the ending leaves a happy aftertaste. very good OST as well
with just the first episode alone you can tell it's regained the charm and chemistry that the 3rd season sorely lacked. detective kang's return is obviously a major part in this.
I preferred the past 2 seasons to this one if i'm honest. It doesn't feel like the same show, it feels like this season is just a break between the real show. In the last episode of season 2 we saw the relationship between Jin Woo and Detective Kang take a step forward. Yet this season just throws a wrench in the story telling. Would have preferred Detective Park to have taken the main lead role since i loved the chemistry between him and Jin Woo and his character was perfect in general
