this drama really pulled all the cliches but it was still a very enjoyable watch. this drama also portrays the complexity of human connection really well. all the characters are multi-faceted, they're not just one dimensional like in a lot of chinese dramas. it ended on a bit of a cliffhanger which is the sad part, i guess they were expecting to get a second season.
this drama was so cute. without xiaobao it would feel like the cliche cdrama, but his presence alone made it so much better. this is a rare case of a drama that starts well, develops well and ends well. the writers didn't ruin the story. the reason i'm only giving this a 8/10 is because the lip-syncing was very jarring at times and totally broke my immersion.
this show had potential for sure. but like someone already pointed out, the cases were too draggy. i think a case-of-the-week approach would've suited this drama better. still a good watch but i give it a 6/10.
this was a very solid drama with likable leads and supporting characters. the story-line was also great, watching their journey to the National League was phenomenal. i wish we could've gotten a second season to see their ascent to world champions. as for the female lead being unlikable or being badly acted, i did not see many instances of that. especially for an idol, her acting was pretty good and she brought a charm to the character that made you root for her. hope to see her in more roles in the future.
2 eps in, what is this game where they get married in game to pair up in quests lol and why do the players take…
when you're that into a game, yeah you take it seriously lol. you care about what happens ingame, you care about your guildmates, you care about the lore. even as a joke, it's a reason to keep coming back to the game. maybe you're like "i don't really have anything to do ingame but imma log in to check on my husband". it's a cute system lol.
this was so good. the cast, the story. everything was fucking fantastic. everything is so natural, there's no forced plots. there's no dumb breakups or misunderstandings. it's a warm romance, they have their issues but they get through them together. it's great, i loved this so much. i highly recommend watching.
This is the first cdrama i actually managed to finish. Usually i'll drop them at episode 10 because they feel draggy or just plain stupid but this one truly captivated me. The concept is fantastic, the romance is phenomenal. it doesn't have stupid misunderstandings, the side characters have depth to them. they're not just one-dimensional support tools for the main leads. The first few kisses even capture the awkwardness of a first relationship. Absolutely fantastic. I saw some negative reviews but decided not to let that cloud my judgement and i wasn't mistaken. This is a very pure, very nice romance. The gaming scenes do leave something to be desired as sometimes the characters aren't even clicking the keys but as long as you can overcome that, i feel you will have a nice time watching this drama.
this drama was meh at best. episode 1 was interesting and i thought it wouldn't get worse but i guess i was mistaken. they delayed the relationship for so long, then when they finally get together they break up almost immediately after. not to mention they only get back together on the last episode? i don't know what the writers were trying to achieve with this weird pacing. at least we had a happy ending. which is the only reason i even rated this higher that a 5/10.
i overall liked this show. it was emotional throughout it's entire runtime. the leads had a deep connection to each other and i loved seeing those moments where they simply got lost in each other. the last few episodes left me perplexed however. it felt as if they undid all the work they'd done the entire drama. i guess they wanted to showcase that not every relationship lasts forever, that you can love each other deeply and it just not work out. but the way they went about it is so stupid. also the open-ended nature of the final scene is just annoying. it seems as though they got back together and walked into the sunset hand-in-hand, if they wanted to do that they should've just had another episode where they reconciled. this ending is just confusing.
honestly only watched for Min Young but i was pleasantly surprised. it ended up being a good drama. 9/10 i would have preferred some things be done differently but that's just personal preference.
this was wayy better than i was anticipating. the characters, the story. everything is fantastic. never once did i feel bored with this show. it's packed with either action scenes or emotional impactful moments. i liked the ending a lot too. overall i give this a 10/10
At ep 12 and I can't stop pitying Noh Tae Nam. I know he's bad guy but getting punished by law is different than…
he deserves it. sure at the beginning he was just an innocent kid, but the moment he turned his rage towards anyone other than his mom he lost. all that's happening to him is just. he's having a taste of what it was like being his victim.
i fucking adored this show. the bullying scenes weren't the easiest to watch but the rest is fucking amazing. Moon got her revenge but she never stooped as low as her bullies. Others might say that the revenge was unsatisfying, but for me it was the most satisfying thing ever. She got revenge on those inhuman pests while remaining human herself.
this was a very cute kdrama. wasn't expecting to like it as much as i did. reading some of these comments you'd think they just started dating outta nowhere with no explanation but no, you can clearly see the moments where the ML falls for the FL and where the FL starts falling as well. i liked the fact that they ended up together and that they continued their ghost taxi service. a cop+taxi driver who sees ghosts is a unbeatable duo for sure. overall i'll give it 9/10. it's nothing new for sure, it reminded me of Bring it On, Ghost but this is a more fluffy version which i appreciate more.
it's okay. the premise is interesting but idk it felt like it dragged out for too long. other than that, the ending also wasn't as satisfying as it could've been. at least it was still a happy ending.
this was so refreshing. a fluffy romance. the unbelievable chemistry between the leads is insane. all you wanna do is just hold them tight and protect them. the love triangle wasn't cringe which was nice. i give this show a solid 10/10
