I'm not really sure the context in which they say its the first LGBTQ TV show in Thailand: I Told Sunset About You and I Promised You the Moon didn't follow any BL tropes. ITSAY was a classic gay coming out story and IPYTM was a young adult gay drama. Even Gel Boys isn't really BL...basically none of Boss Kuno's work has been BLs in the classic sense. Also Aof and Jojo's early series Bangkok GayOK was basically Thai Queer as Folk. I'm not sure if any of those aired on Thai TV or were just on streamers tho so maybe they mean Shine is the first LGBTQ series to air on normal television?

I curious why consider it inappropriate? No shade, I'm authentically wonder?

Jojo said in an interview that if he could go back he would have taken that part out. He said he did mean it as a call back to old Thai dramas and not as a play on the wifey trope, but after the fact he realized that it was just too close to it.

Exactly. As we've learned in every Rupaul's Drag Race Roast challenge, you put your strongest players first and last. Then I think it's rotating stronger/weaker, stronger/weaker. NLMG seems to have had mixed reactions from people ( I LOVED it) but no one can deny the power of Pond/Phuwin and obviously they were going to make us wait for BB and 1000 Stars. Vice Versa is hidden in the middle lol, it's the only series in Our Skyy that I didn't actually finish, BossBabe excluded obvs.

Krist and Mike have been close friends since college. I wonder if they just couldn't break out of the bro relationship. I don't think I could fake romance with my best friend, though I love him dearly. I'm not sure I can picture Mike in a romantic lead at all unless it was a comedy. It's been talked to death, but I do miss him paired with Toptap. I just loved their chemistry together in 2gether and in Tonhon Chonlatee, even though Toptap played two totally different characters and their relationships were portrayed very differently. It worked in both stories.
