It was an amazing drama, with amazing actors and a good script, in my opinion it had too many episodes, it could have been a 36 episodes drama. Too much screen time for people who added nothing to the story (The two men who were after Niu Mei Li) I was hoping for a better ending, but i think i understand why the writers did this way.

There's a few little drama that i wish that the main couple don't stay together and this one of them for me, she will always have that thought that she was the second-best choice and always doubting him and for me that's not a healthy relationship, i think it's just titanic waiting to sink
I´m so mad at myself for not seeing this masterpiece sooner! I was always pushing back seeing this drama and now im regretting, this is literally one of the best Chinese dramas that I've ever seen. Yes, it as 40 episodes, but these 40 episodes were ALWAYS well written and thank God this was a realistic and not an over-the-top drama, the chemistry between the leads was amazing and i their relationship was so healthy and full of communication, and that's good for change. The rest of the cast also made a great job, i just which we could see again her friend who went away for treatment.
I strongly recommend this to future watchers 10/10

In my opinion the trailer is very misleading, i went into this drama thinking it would be a slow burn romance with a lot of complex issues, but no it has been super rushed and i already know that the ML is going to mess up big time with FL
To be honest i don't like the way ML inserts himself in the life of the FL, in only three episodes i could see that he is an exhaustive person and being around him can make u tired of him.
When i saw the trailer a few days ago i thought that this was going to be a slow burn melancholic drama, but instead its being extremely rushed and the melancholic feeling it's not there at all.
With the trailer we can see that there's a 3rd party (the other friend of ML and FL) and i already know that she is going to be a pain in the a**, and most probably ML is always going to prioritize her when she appears.
Honestly i don't like very much when they make the FL to a person who clings to the feeling of liking one person and most of the time i catch me talking to the computer and saying, "dump him", cuz in my opinion if they made you a second option in the past, they will most likely do that in the future.
They are dating in only six episodes, and i already know that FL is going to suffer big time (that scene from the trailer where ML took the other girl in his arms in stuck in my brain), personally i wouldn't let that slide

I liked this drama, but the way they started to build 2 couples just to almost forget them in the second half is so bad. If they didn't want to show any affection/ skin ship they should have done a very slow burn romance between the couples and in the final episode show them holding hands, instead of literally rushing feelings just for the sake of having some romance and not doing anything after. This drama is not one of the best of 2022 but its really good to binge watch when you are bored, it made me laugh several times cuz i love this type of dry humor
And i must say that i loved Philip character/actor hope to see him in future projects

In my opinion i think it was all a story, it not the first time that drama writers are pulling this twist in the end, but who knows maybe it is for the audience choose their own happy ending (real or not real).

These days the writers are making the time travel/ novel travel that in the end it was all a story written by the male character, in this case FL, but im not mad, i think this is one of the best cdramas from 2022.
