I think the fact that they got so lucky with casting a talented person like park eunbin is what carried the show. Not only is she a great actor but the fact that she sings the songs for the show makes it hit harder. Wasn’t in love with the show but didn’t hate it. The dad stuff just felt a bit too much as these are grown ass people at this point still running from him but I understand the identity theft portion. Pretty meh but I’d give it a solid 8 as it is really pretty at times.

it looked like he was trying to go in and have a full on make out session while she just had a stiff fish kiss. To be fair I think a normal pop kiss wouldve been fine here, I dont think the mood was set for a make out session anyway.

The show is decent, can't say I look forward to watching but it's also not a horrible show.

It's getting a little better at least. I think Rowoon toning it down and not being all extra as he was in the first few episodes helped a bit too. Only 1 episode this week?

They did disregard kind of a lot. Ex husband which i didn’t care too much for anyway but still, her dad after friend was supposed to take care of him, her sis, ryang eum, there were things that could’ve been addressed for sure.

It was still beautiful. I have very few complaints, Ryan Eum is kind of one of them. I dislike that they did the memory lost trope twice, I feel like they couldve not done it the first time around and saved it for the end. Maybe those extra 15-30 mins of memory lost the first time couldve went to more closure for Ryang, maybe even JH rescuing him as he promised.

interestingly enough, thinking back on it, you can get some fake closure and leave it at that just watching the first part. There's obviously something that happens at the end of the first part to tell you there's more to come and it's worth it. Character development and acting is beautiful, especially with the leads.

that's exactly how I felt, the first amnesia episode should just have never happened and that would made the ending so much more impactful and beautiful. I was just like.. again and then to overcome it in kind of the same way with the rings... Still beautiful but that time and effort spent on the first memory loss could've went to something else, like more closure for Ryang Eum or something.

The memory loss trope happening twice was pretty doodoo tbh, like why? I could elaborate and gripe about it but I'm just glad it didn't end in a sad ending there was enough suffering and obstacles throughout the show. Still cinematically beautiful, music and acting was beautiful, one of my favs still.

The snake said that he searched for years, I guess we wont be able to pinpoint how long though. When she went to look, she also said she'll return even if it's with his bones. Long enough to think his body could have decomposed.

I guess he was more so bragging about the crown prince and the fact that he wanted to save those slaves/servants it kind of felt as though he was an informant/snitch.

I also don't care about who was waiting in the beginning of the show. Honestly, it could've been omitted at this point. Even the servants got their happy ending, they can't cook the main couple like that for no reason.

I've learned my mistake from The Red Sleeve, this show is now concluded. No way I'm gonna let them butcher the show for me with another tragedy filled episode.
