Trying to hold on, starting to feel like a drop :/

Just curious, where do you feel like it would've fit? She still wasn't 100% on who the "first love" was between the two, she was waiting until the "festival". The movie date was also her just pursuing her own feelings vs what she set out to do.

I mean its understandable though, That date was more so her pursuing her own feelings more than trying to bond as her mother which is technically what she set out to do. Him leaving like that just hit too close to home as the feeling of abandonment is what made her want to go through with the plan of unaliving herself. Once that happened she was just determined or dropped back to reality that she's supposed to be her mom and she should focus on her plan again. At this point she already knows it's not him, he can't handle spice and such. The time travel reveal I mean I understand, would be cool for them to know and interact while knowing but at the same time that's not really the main focus or wasn't anyway. Maybe it'll be in the forefront now since the festival is over and mom is avoiding dad. I feel like these next few episodes is the perfect time for them to find out about each other. I don't think it would've fit any earlier really.

yeah it's really weird that they made it his mission to stop his dad from losing his hearing, I think it is the biggest flaw in this show. He cares so much about his family as he dedicates his time to them yet he's trying to change the dynamic for really no reason which contradicts his character.

From what Ive been saying from the start there really is no benefit for his dad hearing aside from his own selfishness. Not gonna change anything between his mom and his brother, really his own gain there. Can't understand him trying to save him from losing his hearing.

I enjoyed it, first show I've watched with Bae Suzy, am now an enjoyer. I can see how some believe the ending is open ended since it's so vague, based on that conversation they had at the end and the fact that years have passed and they still love each other. The scenes in the beginning of most episodes showing them meet up is enough for me to feel as though they stayed together and meet privately.

How/where are you guys watching it?

Great show, ending fell a little flat for me but the love I've developed for Bibi... ooof.

I mean, it's heavily pointing in that direction. The brother mentioning she's a beautiful cello player, (the only one they've specified in the show as of now 10 eps in is this family line.) the fact that she knows some sign language from her "friend". Anyway, we'll see. Especially since you know, dramas absolutely never follow tripes or patterns while building characters.

Time travel shows/movies are always tricky, hopefully it stays relatively clean. In the end I do feel as though some type of memory loss needs to happen in a sense cause what, they're going to go back to the future and the dad is going to remember experiencing his youth with his own son? There's also the time travelers, are they going to go back remembering everything and their feelings for each other? Guess we'll see :) I like shows where it can go different ways. Hopefully they do it justice since it's been a good show so far.

the tough thing is that this recent episode showed that his brother is already in love with her in the present. Guess we'll see how they spin that in the future.

Yeah I guess the main question now is, is it a time loop or is he actually making changes, In the end I do still feel like the father will still end up deaf, I mean how much different would it be for their relationship vs now aside from Eun Gyeol being able to hear his dad in the future. Wouldnt change anything for his brother or mom. Supposedly the parents first met in college so I'm assuming it's not a time loop but not sure.
