I can easily say its the first time I've seen a BL production company do a supernatural series right !! this show…
We definitely need more horror BL! I remember Something in My Room from 2022, but I didn’t finish watching it. This one’s plot develops more dynamically and is more engaging.
I think the scenography and the focus on visual refinement slightly outweighed the content. I will continue watching because I'm interested in the development of the story, but unfortunately, there is some ill-considered work here that is hard to ignore.
I'm most disappointed with the kiss between Khanin and Charan. I didn’t feel it at all. I had the impression that they were terribly blocked. Even though it might have been a moment of blockage because Charan had in the back of his mind that he was kissing a prince, I expected that, after a moment, they would open up to each other.
Also, the scene with the glass was weird. There is no way that, in the middle of a loud club, everyone would suddenly stop because someone dropped a glass. No one would even hear it. The only sensible solution to this situation would be to isolate the scene between them, with Paytai perceiving and hearing what Ramil did in such a hyperbolic way to emphasize Paytai's obedience.
Have you noticed how - through an 'innocent' conversation about a painting - Khanin's grandfather tries to gauge the emotions governing Charan? The story about the stars is actually a story about Khanin and Charan, with immortality (through belonging to the royal family) referring to Khanin, and the sacrifice of it for a 'mortal' referring to Charan. Despite the dramatic ending, Charan does not deny that the story is romantic, and even refers to the value of love. It's a form of veiled warning from the grandfather, or even a threat, about how things will end.
I'm glad I checked the comments before I dropped it. At first it seemed very boring, but from episode 4 or 5 I started following the plot with curiosity. Now I can say that it's enjoyable.
it's insane to me how they managed to make a show this bad and uwma was so so goodlike????? is it a completely…
Well, it was promising, there was chemistry between the characters, but I don't know how they managed it - it faded over time and with each episode I lose my enthusiasm to watch it. I think I'll watch it to the end, although I had higher expectations.
I'm after watching the first episode and I have to say that the scene with the floating umbrella is probably the most beautiful and aesthetic death scene I've ever seen.
Jesus, if i could punch Mueyong for being stupid, i would not hesitate. Its not just that i hate misunderstandings…
You wrote exactly what I think. I didn't have high expectations about it from the beginning, but since Mu Yeong convinced himself that Seon Ho has a girlfriend and he's not even going to verify it, the plot has become really weak. The only plus is that Seon Ho openly confessed how he felt, that's not very common in dramas, so I liked that. Also, the flashback of Mu Yeong and Joon Seok's conversation at school made me realize that this story could be much more interesting than the story between the main characters.
I already like it. Their characters and the thread of the relationship that is being formed draws me in much more than in FUTS. There is chemistry between them, although as someone pointed out in a previous comment, their scenes are too stiff and there is too much staring at each other instead of different body language. I really like the cinematography! The abandoned place, a bit dingy school, large spaces and the greenish filter - all this evokes a kind of rawness for me, which also corresponds to the mental state of the main character. Most of the scenes are cold and unsettling. Nuengdiao cannot feel safe at school or at home; there is no comfort zone. I like the fact that it looks like his comfort zone will be Palm. Waiting for the next episode!
Well they werent initially gonna be in this one. It was originally Jimmy and Tommy. They weren't confirmed for…
Oh yes, I just read the comment section about the recast. I wouldn't even know without it. I'm new here and was just completing my watchlist when I spotted them on a poster (and was immediately happy 😉). I wonder why they got those roles and if Jimmy and Tommy will be in a different series then.
I'm so glad I found this by accident. I remembered that there would be a separate series with them after the end of Cutie Pie, but I didn't even know when and what the title would be. So here I am 🙌
