💯. But like, she was pretty good in the first episodes. I remember I thought she is this brave woman, smart, up until the king betrayed her. When she came back thats where she started to be stiff and unconsequential.

I think if you forget that this is supposed to be romance drama then it gets better. Lets be real, there is no chemistry between the leads and the romance is not believeable at all. But I quite like the palace politics in this one.

Tbh I saw the first two episodes and I kinda enjoyed it I am definitely going to watch more. To me, ML is not a typical kdrama beauty standard (with the beard in future episodes? Sign me up) and I find myself liking that. Ofc the FL pretending to be a man is extremely obvious, but I can pass it as a artistic choice and it does not bother me that much.

I have to give it to the drama here that the development of the leads was done very well. I understood everyones motives and everything actually had a reason. But I was bored a lot of the time and I guess I have expected something more epic given the ratings. Also did not really like FL :(
