The craziest thing is that I don't even think she genuinely thought he was a good son, she just convinced herself kind of that he was. It was so mind-blowing how she was telling her friends how good son he was, always wanted by the girls and so on.

But in the episode it was in front of everyone, that was kinda meh :D Idk it just did not sit right with me, they could have omitted it completely and nothing would change. A lot of people are dealing with their self image (and I would suspect in Korea it might be even worse), the weight was just unnecessarily highlighted here :D

They surely do, and I am not gonna complain since it is a korean drama, they dont need to adhere to the west standards of being body positive, it just occurred to me that below 50kg is a really low number :D But then again I dont know their height so

Tbh I enjoyed it a lot but almost screamed at some parts that were very unfair. Also, women had almost no chance of winning this, which is very sad. But if they fix it I would watch another season.

So I am currently finishing this and did anyone else feel uncomfortable watching the ML? At the beginning he was ok, but in the end he came across as very possessive over the FL and it really rub me the wrong way. I get the tropes like ML needs to defend the FL but this was in many cases very unnecessary and he acted like she could not do anything herself :D

I am two episodes away from finishing and I just can't get myself through it. All of the twists were kind of predictable and the emotion part as you said also put me off. Is it worth even to finish?

I would not say *heavy*, but definitely not some romcon level light, you need to keep up with the events to make sense of the plot.

Finally finished it, but honestly, I only finished it because of the second main leads, their chemistry was OFF CHARTS perfect. The main couple was okay, but I did not care much. In couple of months the only thing I will remember from this drama will be the second couple tbh. Can't stop thinking about that kiss already :D
