i am not going that far. But i am not really his fan either but i do like him. My personal super duper favorite of JCW is Suspicious Partner ( duh, i am Nam Ji fan. )
I agree, His last two dramas.. well i don't know why he tried those. First of all, both drama was all over the place. Melting Me Softly at least had chemistry but the next one was UH HUH. That drama was awkward.
So i really want him to pick interesting roles instead of eye candy ones. I think he is good in what he do, just need little bit changes will work for him.

Ah, one of the drawbacks in C-dramas, they got really too much of episodes!! i have so many c-dramas waiting but it takes whole new level of courage to watch so many episodes!

Ah, no similarities between two dramas. Just i had to wait for like 3 to 4 episodes so i finally started to like My dear lady. So i think, same thing goes for this one too.

Taiwan dramas are my one of the favorites .. just i have an issue with their background song placement especially when the episode ends.
Lol, i remember watching The perfect match ( one of my most fav btw) and the ost was so wrong sometimes. Like it ended when the mother and son are talking, sometimes brothers or sometimes some utterly weird situations. And let me tell you , the OST was super romantic so yeah... It was funny though.

My ID is Gangnam Beauty is much better when it comes to character development and story. This one is different , and much more focused on cliché naïve 'ugly' girl turn gorgeous after makeup.
The Webtoon i kinda liked it but i dropped because it's getting really draggy. The message was to ' accept the real you' something like that, surprisingly what i am seeing is fl getting more and more obsessed with makeup instead of accepting her real self. And i am not against makeup btw , so yeah... What irritated the hell out of me is how many times she is going to lie and for how long. So yeah, the webtoon started well but now it's just overhyped.
And i wanted to write more but @areallyloudfangirl wrote everything that i wanted. So i am not going to repeat.
Actually, i am a bit excited about the kdrama. I am just getting this vibe that there is no way cha eun woo 's character is going to be the same as webtoon one. And i hope, they change that damn story.
I love Moon Ga. She is really talented and i am excited to see her. But the teaser... Its just wow so bad.

I have so many deserving names that should be adapted as kdrama like an unloveable replacement, age matters, scorching romance, subzero, devil number 4, winter woods etc ....but i have not even a single reason why True beauty should get one. I hope this drama turns good and proves me wrong!
Damn finally! Record of youth got so much potential. It started good, the first few episodes .. well pretty good but then with every episode, I felt that drama is getting 'self-aware'.
I know, ' realistic & modern' drama is trending these days and i support too. But when the drama becomes too much aware of what message they want to give is kinda annoying.
I get it ! But no need to give me tons of knowledge with your every line. The chemistry, at first it was good. This instant ' falling' was yeah got it.. but the way both leads interacted .. dude, no one talks like that.
Bickering sounds cute, only when you know when to stop. Even if you are trying to be cute and flirty but seriously... The ' love triangle;' was pretty useless.
There are lots of things I liked but it stayed for a very short period. For example, I loved grandpa.
If you want me to compare the characters, growth, and chemistry. I would say Do you like Brahms? did a pretty good job.
Record of youth disappointed the hell out of me. And when i thought yeah, this is it. Well, they decided to go with ' Realtsic ending' too.
Talking about the characters, i agree with you. I felt the same thing. They actually introduce everyone with you to know their own stories. And i like when characters are individuals. But But But... i felt this barrier .. i hate to say this but this drama was about showing young people struggling, fighting, and getting what they dream. .. and here i am - i felt nothing.
I am going to give you an example. Because This is my first life did an amazing job in showing the struggles. I never connected with any characters as i did with Yoon ji hon.
I am a writer too. I know the struggles. I know how that feeling of being stuck and giving up actually feels.
So yeah i loved her character. She inspired me a lot.
But i am sorry, i felt the record of youth needed better writing, character development, chemistry, and every possible thing they had but in a BETTER way.
Gosh, the poster of kimi ni todoke literally stopped me to open this article. I miss Haruma Miura so much. He was so good and i was looking forward to seeing his work but damn this whole thing.
After Sushant singh's death, Haruma Miura news shocked me . I don't know when i am going to finally accept the reality.
