I am on chapter 421 and have been slowly making my way through this amazing novel. Omg the amount of detail and craftmentship the author is weaving through this tale is just exquisite. I can honestly say the story telling here rivals many of the top american authors.

I'm at ep13 now, but something is not clicking for me. Cases were okay... but I don't know how to feel about the…
keep in mind this is adapted from a 500+ chapters novel. I'm making my way through it about 130 chapters in. They go into so much more detail in the book and the plot is slightly different compared to the drama.

I'm starting the novel too. I really enjoyed the authors other works so I have high hopes for this one as well.

This is indeed a very steamy drama. Compared to Passionately in love by the same author, the director of this drama certainly cast the right actors. Looking forward to more dramas being adapted by this author, she knows how to write a good story.

Title Be Passionately in Love Spoiler
I have nothing against the Main Actress not allowing intimate scenes in dramas, she’s entitled to keeping certain…
Respectfully, they cannot change the plot because it follows the source material line for line. Cutting out the intimate scenes really hampers the drama because in the novel, the FL was very "passionate" about youthful exploration (if you know what I mean).

Some dramas have achieved amazing success without any kiss scenes, like Mr. Sunshine, but this one CANNOT because the whole theme revolves around intimacy.

After watching episodes 12 and 13 and reading all the comments here, I went ahead and started the novel. I can say that it is 10x better than the show. I came back to the show after binge-reading the novel to see how certain scenes in the novel played out on screen. This drama follows very closely the source material and could easily have gotten a higher rating if they had picked a different actress or included some of the intimate scenes. I strongly encourage those who enjoyed the banter and chemistry of the leads to read the novel instead. You won't regret it!

Knowing the fact that the FL is allergic to being touched by ML and not doing intimate scenes really made me notice how uncomfortable she is whenever those scenes happen. Compared to her fictional counterpart in the novel, she was kind of dissapointing.

Quite a disappointing watch. Basically, if you're not going to deliver a "passionate" romance as promised, at…
This drama follows closely to the source material with some modifications to make it look better on screen. I don't think they could have explored the abroad scene as it was barely mentioned in the novel.
With the lack of any intimate scenes, it really didnt do the novel any justice.
