Yeah, I love friendship more than romance! Have you watched the ones in my other article, too? Have fun watching!…
I did read your other friendship list but I don't watch a lot of modern shows so the ones on this list interest me a lot more :) I have been pondering Crossfire though! It looks like I've read and enjoyed all your MDL posts actually, nice!
Hurray for friendships! Most of these have been on my radar but I wasn't sure if I should watch until now, and Sleuth of the Ming Dynasty is definitely going into my immediate watch list :) Thank you for sharing!
you forget/ignore the puppet almost immediately, *please* watch this adorable show, it will heal your heart and…
I won't lie, parts of the first episode *are* a bit awkward, but it's also immensely charming and you empathise immediately with both Kanda and the cat, wanting only good things for them both. The world is a dumpster fire right now but it's not hyperbole to say this show is a delight, and makes it allll go away for half an hour :)
We Japanese dorama lovers have an unfortunate fate in that there just are so few subbers in existence! I feel…
It's so odd to me, when I first started watching jdramas 15+ years ago they were pretty much the only subs talked about online, and now it seems like a struggle to find them compared to others. Obviously I'm thrilled for more shows to have an international audience and fans, but still! More doramas please... :)
Have you watched Love and Redemption? I highly recommend that!
I also started LaR, but put it 'on hold' rather than dropped it, as I thought it might be something I'd enjoy more if I were in a different mood - it's still in my to watch list! :)
Personally after 20 eps in, it started picking up pace. I found it more exciting and wanted to always watch the…
63 episodes is waaay too long! I know that's why I'm putting it off, there's just so much faff to get through to the good stuff :) Thank you for your comment!
Just finished episode two and I've already cried twice, this show is so charmingly ridiculous and ridiculously charming. Two lonely depressed souls finding each other to share comfort and love? Yes please! :)
Even though I crave more xianxia in my life I dropped this series after two episodes because I was bored (and my to-watch list is long so I didn't want to waste time on it) - I know this is a top series for most people so I'm willing to give it another go, could I have some reassurance/encouragement it gets better? Please feel free to waffle enthusiastically about your favourite parts at me :D
I also put Eternal Love on hold (I know, I know) and have been dithering which one to try again, if you think I should watch that instead :) Thanks!
