Kdramas are getting more things right. Still a whole lot wrong but appreciate what they were trying to do. Unfortunately it seems that in such a society mental health care from professionals is still a no go? It is absolutely true that a few words can change the course of a life but tearing down old pathways in the brain and building new ones takes time and help. One cannot overcome an eating disorder that quickly and sometimes when old memories and pain surface I need to remind myself (sometimes out loud) that I have forgiven (remember forgiveness ≠ absolution) and to let it go again.
Suicide is a complicated thing. It is murder (the deliberate taking of a human life at any stage is murder) but it should absolutely should not be punished like how it was once upon a time (jail time in some countries) or the people decried.

That was a good drama. I feel like I missed a fair bit in the translation (esp. the lack of written text translation) and that the ends of ep. were cut off but it was a great show. I too didn't understand all of the comedian's stuff, probably due to lost in translation and cultural stuff.

Just finished watching. There are a few oddities but I chose to take it as it came, not compare it to the Japanese live action (haven't read the manga) except to note the similarities.

Well said. All I can think to add is that introverts don't have to be shy or reserved. Not all extroverts are outgoing or good at socializing. All the definitions of introversion-amberversion-extroversion are about stimulation & energy. My favorite is: extroverts have a wall in front of them with a little hole in it. All the stimulation coming at them has a hard time getting through so they are constantly looking for more. Introverts have a wall with a big hole in it so more gets through which tires them out/overwhelms them quicker. Most people are amberverts (in the middle) oft with a lean toward one either end.
