Got to the end of episode 6 where the MC complained about her father committing suicide and compared it to the betrayal of her fiance cheating on her... just disgusting tbh. Such unlikeable and bland characters all around with desperate attempts to link the beginning and end of episodes with stupid weather metaphors lmao. I'm usually pretty lenient with bad shows but this is just dull.
Sorry I don't really understand what you're really meaning to say in the last part of your point because of all the quotes, but I'll admit that yes, what he said in the past had homophobic undertones, and as a gay man I'd be annoyed hearing that in person. However it is literally around a 5-10 second soundbite he made in response to having to do a weird fanservice game that I'd personally find weird even if it was straight lol. I read it as a badly phrased reaction when he was struggling massively with anxiety and social interaction, particularly with public displays of affection, being on camera/the centre of attention/in the spotlight etc (just watch any interviews from that time), and trying to find his footing as an idol. In that last sentence you're assuming a whole lot of his past opinions based off of a throw-away comment that was most likely born out of his extreme awkwardness at the time with any PDA with ANY gender.
Anyway past 2012 he's grown to be extremely affectionate with men (the rest of the VIXX members, his musical actor hyungs, EXO's Minseok) & showed no concern at the idea of his character Death in the musical Elisabeth kissing a man. If anyone still cares and reads to this point, please know most fans do believe he's changed and see him in good faith rather than referencing one quote from a decade ago where he was an entirely different person.
This was literally back in 2012. Doesn't excuse what he said but he has come a very long way since then in terms of expressing affection and speaking openly in public, from saying 'why would 2 men want to touch lips?' in response to him struggling to participate in those odd fan service games practically every idol was forced to do back then. The context really matters here, unless you're talking about another instance where he was homophobic?
Am I the only one who loooved his styling in The School Nurse Files? 😅 He was so handsome since he looked disheveled a lot of the time and very natural....
