i agree that she has gotten better. i even said that. but in my opinion it is still not good enough for the main lead. i could imagine her as the second female lead or even a support role. i don't even think she's that bad, but there are so many other female actresses who would've been a better choice.
I'm devastated. The moment I heard, that Suzy is going to be the female lead I was sceptical about this drama. Now that I've seen the first episode, I know why.
I really am sorry to say this, but I think giving the lead to her, was not a wise choice. I don't hate her, in fact I really like her, but not as an actress. She doesn't delay the feelings to me, the female lead should. And I really think it's sad, because I love Lee Jong Suk so much, as a actor. When I saw the episode, I could really feel his character and the emotions in his face, but the second Suzy was on screen, I saw nothing.
She looks like every character she ever played. It really doesn't show much difference. I can see that she's gotten better, but in my opinion it's still not good enough for her to be the main lead.
However I still am going to watch this drama, since I really want to know what's going to happen and for Lee Jong Suk.
Well I'm not a great writer of reviews so I leave a comment, I think this drama wasn't horrible, but it wasn't good at all either. It's kind of sad, because it started pretty good, but got messy at the middle. I started it only because it was a historical drama and i liked the cast (i won't say because of V/Taehyung so I don't get bashed here, but he was a little bit influence to me).The most outstanding was probably the acting/cast and the OST. I have to admit, that I continued to watch it for Park Hyung Shik's character, so I was very disappointed with the main couple, and for the couple Ban Ryu/Soo Yeon. I wouldn't watch it again, because it was so draggy that I had to skip episode 19.
I am having second lead syndrome soo hard right now T_T i swear the moment i saw the king, i knew i was going to cry because he probably wont end up with her .__.
we should write letters to the writer and tell her she has to change the main couple or i wont be able to keep it together at the end xD
omg the last episode T_T i thought my heart is going to jump out of my chest. and the preview ... if he is going to forget her again and she is drawing it as a dream AGAIN, i am going to throw my computer out of my window hahaha xD
I'm really really curious how the story will develope. since the love story is already at this point and the kiss in the last episode (since it normally takes at least 8 episodes till they kiss - not counting accident kisses here). I don't think it will always revolve around the same point and the love between them won't change. So there has to happen something and I have to admit that I'm a little bit afraid ._.
There are still 4 days left to wait T_T i swear i have never been so frustrated that a drama is "still ongoing" and i can't watch the next episode ._. this drama is soo good and thrilling, it is nerve wracking x.x
oh and i have to mention that i totally have fallen for SJK *-* i sadly never really recognized him till now ._.

but i cried so much at the end of the second episode. at first i was like : "naah, they woudn't kill him since he is the main character" and then i was like : "whaaat? how can they do that? but the description says.. .___." i cried for the whole eveneing and everytime i calmed down and saw a video with se chan or tried to watch the third episode, i bursted out in tears again T__T
