Which drama/book are you talking about? That doesn't sound like this series.... They haven't had a feud in the…
the blurb says: "Adapted from the novel "Mou Mou" (某某) by Mu Su Li (木苏里)" and " Sheng Wang when he transfers into a new high school and clashes immediately with classmate Jiang Tian". Again my thoughts were solely based on the blurb so thanks for clearing the misuderstanding!
I just read the blur and this series seems a bit... problematic (for lack of a better word), no? The bit I'm struggling to comprehend is that AFTER their parents get married, they fall for each other (I think, I haven't watched the show) - while having a past of disliking one another (sweet home Alabama..??). I'm sure the author, and director, would have given them wishy-washy, lovey-dovey moments during whatever "feud" they had to reduce the odd-ness(?) of the situation. I'm sure this has happened in real life (to at least one family, right?) but romanticizing the situation feels so weird to me, considering they are literally STEPBROTHERS. That being said I want to know what people think of the show, and I'm also curious if there's anybody with the same thoughts but watched it anyway, because, at the end of the day I guess, it's just fiction right?
I can actually finally say Maya was starting to annoy me. I don't hate maya or anything I simply think she has bad ways of carrying out her (good?) intentions .At first I took her attempting to create a barrier between taichi and sugihara as her trying to "protect" sugihara. They're both deaf and she full well knows the dirty looks, the sympathetic whispers, however, she also knows the pitying people who may take advantage of you; she was worried taichi was one of them, just using sugihara for his food and not taking the responsibility of being his note-taker (and friend) seriously (so i gave her the benefit of the doubt). That is how I interpreted her character (although she was kinda bitchy and quick to judge that one friend of taichi with the bicycle, which was quiet odd of her, maybe it was out of self-pitying jealousy...?). However, she without a doubt knew about sugihara's (massive) crush on taichi since the night they went out for a meal with other friends, she knew and yet she tried to distance them..? She very well might have been trying to be a good friend and "take care" of sugihara- who she thought was to happy to see he was being used- but the latest ep (10) has me unsure about that. Maybe (js maybe) she has feelings for sugihara....idk. I know some people may be like "obviously she does" but i feel there was no obvious, plain to see sign that she does, maybe i just wrongly interpreted the scene. (certified waffler😭)
This is extremely upsetting, that brother was a bastard. No I'm sorry but his brother was cruel and that Santa…
I couldn't agree more. The urge to b!tch slap him was through the roof. Wdym when ur brother is wailing and holding his @ss and clearly in a lot of pain and distress, ur just gonna ignore him. Ugh I despise how well Jinyoung played the role. (fyi I watched the movie a while ago but coming back to this page brings me comfort so if i muddled up anything sorry lol😭
The tension between them was unreal, I didn’t care for a kiss scene (if they liked each other, I feel like it’s kinda up for debate) or anything but they were so in love (I think) it drove me crazy. If only one of them confessed, I wonder what would have happened then
Im so frustrated. I read the webtoon after hearing they were making it into a series and now it's been months and they've left us with no update. The cast looks so cute too. If it's cancelled they should let us know so I don't have sit here waiting for updates, but I really hope it's not because this is one of by first and favourite manhwas and i'd love to see it as a series :( Hopefully next year we'll get an update OR (if I'm pushing it) maybe a release?
