I just read Zhang Zhehan’s updated bio on MDL. Thank you all to the contributors to this updated bio. It showed Zhehan’s amazing journey from being framed, cyber bullied, boycotted, having no voice, no name online, being denied of all basic rights of a law-biding citizen that he is, to climbing out of depression and making to the top world music chart within a year and a half. That takes courage and grit! 🙌

That still doesnt give excuse for her pushy and aggressive behavior though. It made her look narcissistic and selfish. She was toying with him. It made their romamce insincere.

I don't know if anyone else experiences this when watching a drama, you will suddenly find yourself and in my case often without realising it, I'm doing one of the following -

Grinning like idiot - usually during all those really happy moments😊
Laughing out loud- either from humour or disbelief 🤣
Eyes stretched wide - when something so awesome happens that you need to immediately re-watch it😮
Frowning - what just happened in a I can't believe they just said/did that kind of way😦
Squinting with head tilted to the side - what am I watching here is this good?😕

As I'm watching this drama I've noticed that I 'm spending more time Frowning and Squinting and less time on the others. This is not the experience I was expecting when i started this drama. I'm sticking with this now for the cast as I generally like there other works and I'm clinging to idea the second half of the drama will be a lot better than the first - current expression -😒

I love Ha Yoon-kyung, she's special. But watching the clumsy scene where the charmless Mr Ha rejects her, I was thinking... this is not a crying moment; had to look away in second hand embarassment.

Why are the ratings so inflated, my god. The adaptation was pretty alright, but not 8.6 worthy. Come on y'all

This was unfortunately such a terrible adaptation after a great initial start.

so much time and effort was spent on BJE's past...the drama made it the foundation of EVERYTHING.
...and she just forgot everything in the end. couldn't help but laugh.

at the start, BJE was forcing a connection with people just bc they were her loved ones from her past lives. (why does she like SH? bc they had a connection in her 18th life.)

at the end, SH and CW (and everyone else) are now the ones trying to force a connection with JE based on the past she no longer remembers.

i think i would've preferred if they all forgot their memories in the end not just BJE. and with a clean slate, they find and truly get to know each other unburdened by the past. that would've been my ending.

i really didn't enjoy how this writer handled character/relationship development in this drama. too much reliance on the past instead of meaningful growth and interactions in the present. zero depth.

Ep 11, interesting plot twist. SHS looks really nice in that jet black hair and traditional attire. I was not feeling her coloured hair, maybe if it has some curls or waves.
BTW I have noticed they have put Cho Won literally in attires with houndstooth pattern either tweed skirt suit and blouses, which is a vintage look for rich girls. She carries it well.
Mr Ha has been a serious person from his first life haha

As a genuine fiction lover... This drama is mediocre. But not so bad as to drop because I'm a fan of SHS and I'm hoping that they can still turn things around.

I have to disagree with the chemistry comment though.

Even the worst written dramas are forgiving for lack of good plot, bad music direction etc., if the main characters have sizzling chemistry (be it romance/bromance). The reason everyone notices all the issues in the drama is because of the lack of chemistry.

And if you want to see what a hater really looks like, you should check out the pages like Start Up and where a massive ship war occurred and people down voted the drama to 1/10 (even created fake profiles to down vote the drama) because their ship didn't happen even though they enjoyed most of it. They down vote the drama because seeing a high rating annoys them so much. That's a hater.

If you look at this page, people are saying their opinions and even bringing in examples for the criticisms they have. To call everyone who has a valid criticism 'haters' is a gross exaggeration.
